Good location

We selected this property as it was located very close to the venue that my children's event was being held at. The initial communication with the property manager/owner was great. The suite was cute and on the surface clean. There were, however, some areas that could use a deeper clean, such as the vents. The ones in the bathroom were filled with debris and mold. The ceilings and walls also needed to be washed as there was lint and cob webs in the corners. Given the humid climate of the area, the basement was also very humid and would benefit from proper ventilation and dehumidifier. The property also did not offer a lot of sound separation for the owners who lived there. You could hear them upstairs and on the other side of the wall in the basement. Both on Friday and Saturday noise did not quiet down until quite late and started again very early. We reached out to the owner on Saturday evening, and she responded that they had been watching a movie. While, I don't expect people to stop living in their space, if this is going to be a property they continue to rent, it would be beneficial to do proper sound proofing, as full conversations could be heard through the day and night. This may not be an issue for some people, but those who are light sleepers or need to be able to get rest on a schedule, may struggle. Parking is also down the street, which is not indicated in the ad. Backyard space was not used as there is construction occurring in the yard.
