It wasn’t clear in the information how hard accessibility was to the building. We travelled all the way from the Yukon to go to a concert. We got stuck outside and midnight. I also came down to let my friend in after she went to get coffees early the next morning and we both got stuck in the lobby for another hour until the maintenance man let us up to the 3rd floor. It would be very helpful to have a different set up to get in and out of the building. No where in the details of information did it suggest taking the FOB’s. The only mention of the FOB’s was for parking.

Apartment was clean and hosts were very accommodating to our early arrival into town. The building felt very secure. Rooftop views were incredible. We enjoyed eating our breakfast a few doors down at Dalina and lunch at Juke Fried Chicken.

Nice little apartment and great if you’ve got a group of people! It could use some updates to the AC; it got quite warm in one of the bedrooms and the way the current system is setup lets in cigarette smoke from people smoking outside. Do be aware of the area if you have kids, it’s a little rough. The building is super safe and secure though and lovely.

Checkin and checkout process was well explained and easy to follow. Condo was very clean and bright. Beds were comfortable. Showers stocked with some shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Secure underground parking for 1 vehicle included. Walkable to downtown concerts and many restaurants. Beautiful expansive view from rooftop patio area.

Would not recommend to a friend. Bedrooms were so small, it is hard to move around the bed. Super loud AC and washer/dryer. Property needs maintenance - tub stop missing, chipped knives, beat-up patio furniture, missing fire alarm. Difficult to open overhead kitchen cabinets. Main bedroom needs black-out curtains because in summer, it is BRIGHT by 5am. Sketchy neighborhood with lots of homeless and emergency sirens off/on all night.

Great Space

We stayed in this Chinatown Condo from Thursday to Monday. The space is amazing. Three queen size beds with great mattresses and linens. There is a great kitchen with all the kitchen things you will need. The coffee pot is a Kcup so bring those with ya! Check-in process was easy as was check out. Chinatown is close to the BC Place and the Convention Centers.

Spacious spot in the heart of the city

Wonderful location blocks away from some of the best restaurants and bars in the city, with great access to transit, bikes, the sea wall and more. Definitely recommended.

Mixed Feelings

This was a family trip with members total, so a 3-bedroom 2 full bath apartment was imperative to have.The apartment check-in process was a snap. We entered the code, secured door opens, and we were in.The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The living space was adequate and comfortable. The kitchen was nice and had what we needed. The building itself was very quiet, and we may have seen 1 or 2 residents during our stay. However, when we arrived, there was only one functioning shower. That evening, Sunday, it was brought to the attention of both the owner and the property manager. I never heard back from the property manager, but the owner was quick to respond. The shower was repaired on Tuesday, and we were leaving on Wednesday. My main issue, and this might be just a me thing, is that the shower had been previously damaged, the water did not turn on because of a damaged handle, and it was left in this condition. The kitchen faucet had a similar issue, but the handle would fall off. This too was repaired on Tuesday. The neighborhood itself is very loud and there is an abundance of homelessness. We like to walk, but we were a bit uncomfortable because of the area. Owner can't do anything about that, but it would have been good to know this before booking. This will be noted in the check-in info, but not until a few days before check-in. Had we known this, we would have selected a different location. The apartment alone, was fine and well kept.

We had an excellent stay in Chinatown! The unit was clean and we were happy with the location. The third bedroom did not have any windows and was in a den, so there was no door to the bedroom, just a privacy screen. The kitchen was also minimal which was not a problem as we did not cook anything but if you were planning on cheffing a gourmet meal I would not advise doing it in this kitchen.They provided two air conditioning units and there was a cute patio and roof top deck that gave great views. It was an excellent location, lots of good food, cocktails, easy biking to Granville and the sea wall. We didn't have any safety concerns in the area.

Queen bees in Vancouver

We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. The location worked perfect for us tourists. We caught thehop on hop off bus a block away. Since it is in Chinatown, we enjoyed the most wonderful Chinese food 2 nights our stay. We did encounter a few homeless people, but they were harmless and it is common in most big cities. Vancouver is beautiful, and the people are wonderful.

Overall a good stay. A couple small hiccups that were addressed by the host. Apartment is nice and spacious. Building location is in a neighborhood that has its share of problems but the building itself is ver secure.
