We somehow booked yesterday but are staying today. I asked for reservation to be moved because I had no idea the dates were wrong. Desk clerk agreed to refund if Expedia agreed, Expedia agreed & hotel manager refused to credit, so I had to pay for two nights. She was non-apologetic & totally unaccommodating & said there were no regional or other avenues to challenge her decision except IHG. I am contacting regional manager for holiday inn express. Although have stayed at many holiday in. Express properties, We are a recent rewards member. There is too much competition that really appreciates us as guests to support one that is so calloused to guests’ needs. My mistake for not double checking date, but would have never booked for tonight (@$45-+) had I known management was so bad. I told her I would just cancel IHG rewards & use a different property & she was totally ok with that & expressed as much!
