La camera era molto carina e ben arredata, comoda e spaziosa. L' hotel è situato in centro, con tutte le comodità del caso: ristoranti, minimarket ecc Il personale molto cortese e simpatico! L'unica "pecca" è l'assenza del servizio colazione, sebbene in camera si trovino una macchinetta del caffè ed una teiera con cialde e bustine offerte dall'hotel.

Good located, be prepared for noise from street

It's on a busy restaurant street. If you are facing that road be ready for noise (either from diners / happy go lucky folks in the evening / night time as well as cleaners / garbage collectors in the morning hours. The windows don't really noise insulate well. Staff are generally friendly. Good location in old town. More of a 3* hotel than 4* but I think this star inflation is common in Malta.

Disappointing stay

Considering this was a 4 star hotel, I was disappointed with the standard of accommodation. My first room I was allocated to had a broken shower and the attempted “repair” of the problem seemed unprofessional. Eventually I had to move rooms after I had unpacked which was frustrating. During my last day, the power went out for hours ( we had no AC, electricity, use of the lift, lights -even no emergency lighting in the stairwell so I had to use my phone torch to see! ) when eventually they moved us to a different hotel after multiple complaints. It was very inconvenient to say the least to keep moving rooms/ having things not working rather than just enjoying my stay. I suggest that the hotel checks the rooms are suitable before opening to paying guests. For the positives, the location was right in the centre of Valletta and the beds were comfortable. Staff were also helpful.

very good location, lot of restaurants around, walking distance from bus terminal and ferries. Nice new furnishing, bed was too soft but that is just personal preference. Staff was very nice, very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Great staff, superb room, and central location

De Vilhena Boutique Hotel offers a great location to see Valletta and Malta. It is close to St. John’s Co Cathedral, the ferry ports, cafes, restaurants, and retail. The property provided a well-lit, efficiently designed, and comfortable room with effective AC. The balcony view, well-equipped bathroom, and nice bedding were excellent. The elevator and rooftop view served as added bonuses. Finally, the staff are exceptional. They are good communicators and knowledgeable about Malta which helps visitors. The cleaning, check in, and checkout were great. They were extremely helpful. I would return to this hotel.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in the city centre of VallettaVery well located in the heart of Valletta close to the main attractions. Big, quiet, comfortable, clean room with sofa on the 2nd floor, at the back of the hotel, the silent side. Beware the front side of the hotel is very lively with street music and restaurant. The safe is big enough to store a 15” laptop. Polite, helpful and extremely friendly staff

Super helpful hotel team in central Valletta

The cleanliness and location of this hotel is perfect for exploring Valletta. Everything is within easy walking distance. I would say initially I was in a front facing 1st floor room and there is a fair bit of noise from the street in the evening so if you're sensitive to noise/not going to be out late then request a different floor. I have to say the team here were AMAZING in sorting this out. I asked one evening if it was possible to swap rooms the next day and in the morning they were so proactive at sorting this out so I couldn't ask for a better service. The entire time the team were so helpful & understadnding during check out as I needed somewhere to take a work call. Would recommend this place for sure!!!

Nice boutique hotel in central Valletta. On sidestreet next to St Georges square, plenty of restaurants right on the doorstep with no problem of noise from within the hotel itself. Spacious room with good air con, small balcony area (no view). Pleasant terrace and restaurant on the roof. Friendly reception.

Deludente per insonorizzazione stanze , climatizzazione , pulizia bagno , televisione che non fa vedere alcun canale Rai e Mediaset che si bloccano in continuazione. Da un boutique hotel mi sarei aspettato molto di più. Ottima la posizione e buon letto. Le cialde sottomarca a posto di quelle originali Lavazza poi sono davvero una tristezza desolante così come la bottiglia di acqua che viene omaggiata solo per la prima notte . Qualità del sonno scarsa per rumori esterni e delle altre camere. Qualità prezzo bocciato. Peccato perché le potenzialità ci sono. Comunque giudizio severo il mio. Posizione eccezionale però .

Not very boutique but perfect location

Room - furniture minimalistic but fine for short stay. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and great air conditioning. Room cleaned and bed linens changed every day. View. - room 205 described as city view, well it was a view of a wall. Plus side rooms on this side were much quieter then any on the front due to restaurants and bars next door. Facilities- maybe down to covid but no breakfast available and rooftop bar not open. Location - absolutely perfect. Bang in the centre of Valletta, very short walk to Sliema ferry and St George’s square. Staff - all very friendly and helpful Valletta is an amazing city and this hotel is a great base to explore but it’s not a place full of 4 star facilities and extras . 8/10

Great Hotel in the heart of Valletta.

I had a great stay at this hotel well located in Valletta. Many things are still shut down due to Covid 19 but the staff was great and I received an upgrade to a suite. It was lovely.

Sehr sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal :). Die Unterkunft ist modern. Etwas wenig Stauraum, aber ok. Hübscher Dachgarten. Frühstück eknfach aber gut. Lage: in der Fussgängerzone, traumhafte Umgebung. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Gute Busanbindunen. Einziger Nachteil ist der Lärm abends durch reinholen der Aussenbestuhlung und früh morgens det Müllabfuhr. Es schallt leider extrem in den engen Gassen. Trotzdem ein Wohlfühlort!
