Outdated and unhelpful staff
The hotel is very outdated and certainly not 4* quality. The rooms are very basic, bed uncomfortable and feel like they need an upgrade. We asked for an iron to use in our room and had to ask the staff repeatedly to then be told there was only one for the whole hotel. We were then told if we want one quicker we should use the paid for service. Not a response I expect to recieve in a hotel. Whilst we stayed, the hot water stopped working, this of course is something that probably was out of the control of the hotel, but the staff were unapologetic.

I’m unsure how it’s a 4* hotel. Staff were mostly friendly apart from one guy that looked like a bulldog chewing a wasp. The hotel room was basic and unclean/broken - saw dust all over the floor where the were changing locks, bathroom still had hair in the shower and hairs in the bidet, toilet door handle broken, bathroom lights broken and exposed wires just under the desk (I took pictures). Like I said the room is basic I was surprised that there wasn’t a kettle with tea and coffee provided. The tv obviously had Spanish channels which is understandable, also had German and French but there was no English Channel. Breakfast was nice in which they provided hot and cold options but the problem was that the hot options of scrambled egg, bacon, mushrooms and sausages were not hot its was mildly warm. We also had some lunch here as we were killing time before going to the airport which was very nice but we were charged €10 for something that we didn’t have which the lovely waiter sorted it out for us but I’m confused at how that mistake happened as we were the only people there.
