A good recommendation!

One of our sons and his family stayed at the property last year and thoroughly recommend it. We’re so glad we took it up! We’ve been coming to Uzès for over 20 years and know the area well and the proximity of the apartment to the Place aux Herbes is so convenient and is a really lovely place to stay.

A fantastic apartment in a fantastic location.

We loved our stay in Uzès. It is a very special place and to be right at the heart of it - literally 30 seconds from one of the most beautiful squares in France, the Place aux Herbes - is a brilliant advantage. This is not even the best thing about it, as the apartment itself is beautiful. It is very well equipped with everything you need and is just as perfect for a small family as it would be for a couple. We loved being so close to the amazing fresh food from the Wednesday and Saturday markets and I don’t think I would ever get tired of that view of the courtyard and tower out of the kitchen window. The welcome was also great: with good communication and excellent help with getting us settled in. It made us feel like we could get in touch if we had any issues whatsoever and so it proved because when we did have a few issues with the TV we had great help from Aurelian’s father and when we had a question about the recycling it was quickly resolved with a couple of messages. Overall, it was a brilliant property, a brilliant welcome and a brilliant location. We will definitely be coming back some day.

Family visit to Uzes

Our apartment in Uzes could not have been more perfect. The location is right next to Place des Halles and the stone building kept the place cool during the day even though it was >90 F outside. The hosts were very helpful and we all had a great time!

Wonderful Uzes

Uzes is a wonderful, small French town and the apartment is an excellent base to explore the village. Place aux Herbs, the heart of the village, is a 2 min walk. The apartment is clean and the host is very accommodating. An exterior sitting area would be a nice bonus but with Uzes being so inviting, perhaps such an area is not needed.

Beschwerde

Angekündigt waren Parkplatz und Garten auf dem Gelände. Ein Parkplatz ist nicht vorhanden, der Garten darf nicht genutzt werden. Wir mieteten vor Monaten eine Wohnung in Uzès, um dort im Mai/Juni 2022 zwei Wochen zu verbringen, in denen mit sommerlichem Wetter zu rechnen war. Wichtig waren uns deshalb der in der Beschreibung mit Foto erwähnte Garten. Mitentscheidend für die Auswahl dieser Wohnung war zudem, dass im Text der Anzeige sehr stark betont wurde, dass zur Wohnung ein Parkplatz gehört. Als wir nun am 29. Mai in Uzès nach 1300 km Anfahrt ankamen, erfuhren wir, dass der angepriesene Parkplatz nicht existiert, und es im direkten Umfeld der Wohnung gar keine Parkmöglichkeit gibt. Gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze gibt es in einiger Entfernung, kostenlose Parkplätze in etwa 1000 Meter Entfernung. Die Ausstattung der Küche mit Töpfen war sehr eingeschränkt und deren Funktionsfähigkeit zunächst nicht erkennbar, da an keinem Topf und keiner Pfanne ein Griff vorhanden war. (Später wurde klar, dass es für alle Töpfe nur einen einzigen abnehmbaren Griff gibt.) Für keinen Topf gibt es einen passenden Deckel. Der angekündigte Wasserkocher funktioniert nicht, weil das ans Stromnetz anzuschließende Unterteil fehlt. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde uns von der Schwester und vom Vater des Vermieters versichert, dass wir den etwa 20 Meter von der Wohnung entfernten und über einen Innenhof erreichbaren Garten benutzen dürfen; dort stehe uns ein Gartentisch mit Stühlen zur Verfügung. Die Besitzer anderer Wohnungen teilten uns aber mit, dass wir kein Recht zur Gartennutzung hätten. Darauf angesprochen, erklärte der Vermieter, der Garten dürfe nicht benutzt werden und das gehe auch aus der Wohnungsbeschreibung hervor. (Dort befindet sich wie gesagt sogar ein werbendes Foto des Gartens.) Als wir dann abends zwei Stühle vor unserer Eingangstür in den Innenhof stellten, erklärten andere Eigentümer, dass auch das nicht erlaubt sei. So stellte sich heraus, dass wichtige und für uns ausschlaggebenden Faktoren, genau diese Ferienwohnung zu wählen, nicht vorhanden bzw. nutzbar sind: Parkplatz nicht vorhanden, Garten und Hof nicht nutzbar. Nachdem wir bisher mit den von „FeWo direkt“ vermittelten Ferienwohnungen immer zufrieden waren, sind wir diesmal sehr enttäuscht.

Un séjour comme on les aime, un accueil et une disponibilité du propriétaire vraiment top. Un appartement situé au cœur de la ville et malgré tout au calme. Une décoration simple et chaleureuse. Cette semaine a été un pur bonheur.

Magnifique rdc dans un hôtel particulier. Vaut le detour!ir

Un petit havre de paix, ou on a prêté attention à la déco. Hyper bien positionné à 2 pas de la place aux Herbes mais au calme. Aurelien prend le temps de bien expliquer les choses à voir, à faire et les bonnes adresses. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir!!!
