Robber's Roost is one of our larger cabins. Each of the two bedrooms has a king bed and there is a full size sleeper sofa in the living area.

Utopia River Retreat is a 12-acre estate where you can relax in one of 9 cozy cabins or the historic home known as the Fortress. Enjoy views of the Sabinal River, centuries-old cypress & oak trees as well as the native wildlife. You will find enchantment with each visit. Our event spaces have played host to weddings, family reunions and numerous other events.

The cabin is in need of repair. High speed internet was not true we could never get anything on the Dish tv to work The cooker was rusted, grill didn’t fit. The furniture on the back porch was rusted so we set in camper chairs we bought. The front door deadbolt didn’t work. Both porches Need major upgrade When we opened the back door a bucket of cigarettes butts greeted us. The grounds were filled with stickers and most grass dead. The cabin had crickets and grasshoppers and spiders. For the price I expected lovely view and a nice cabin. I will go back to the area for beautiful drives and scenery but not Utopia.
