Rokua Vaulutupa by Interhome

Vaulutupa is situated in a beautiful area, close to both Lake Vaulujärvi and the Rokua National Park. Even though it doesn’t have its own beach, a public beach is very close by.

The apartment is cozy and functional, located at the end of a row house of four apartments built in 1996. The apartment itself was renovated in 2023.

Indoors, there's an open living room/kitchen, perfect for spending time together. Two bedrooms offer space for 4-6 people, each with bunk beds, where the lower bed is 160 cm wide. The closet in the second bedroom is not available to customers.

Additionally, there's a sauna, a shower room/ WC, and a loft with two mattresses. However, it's important to note that the stairs leading to the loft are very steep.

The covered terrace adds extra space for relaxation. Also, a storage space is available for keeping vacation equipment. During colder seasons, the apartment's temperature upon handover is approx. 16°C. The customer can quickly raise the temperature themselves using an air-source heat pump. In summer, the air-source heat pump can be used to cool the apartment.

The apartment is located in the unique ridge landscapes of Rokua near the national park and Rokua Geopark. The area features clear-watered kettle ponds and eskers covered in lichen (landforms created during the ice age). Rokua hosts Finland's first Geopark, a destination under UNESCO's protection, consisting of unique geological sites.

Rokua offers several hiking trails suitable for hiking, trekking, and mountain biking. There are 70 km of ski trails in the area, with 9 km illuminated. The illuminated trail is 50 m from the apartment. Ski stadium is 0.3 km away. Geopark and Rokua National Park with services are 1 km away. Rokua Health & Spa Resort is 3 km away.

Cleaning and linen (sheets and towels) can be booked for an additional fee.

Note! Charging an electric car is strictly prohibited. There is a charging point in the vicinity of the spa hotel, approx. 3 km away.
