The Silverstream Retreat is a great setup. The accommodation exceeded our expectations - plenty of room, all required services and was set in a quiet location yet not far from areas we visited. The onsite laundry was great. The staff were great and even thought we were there over christmas the servicing of the rooms met all of our requirements. Will stay here again

Room was lovely and the staff welcoming. kitchenette was great as their dining room was closed. I never did manage to get the heat working so it was decidedly cool in the room. Also no electrical outlet near the table which was not ideal for working and charging at the same time! Kleenex would have been appreciated.

It is obvious that the Silverstream Retreat owners and staff take immense pride in their facilities, manaaki tangata (looking after their guests) and their environment. There is only one thing that would make it so much better ... the provision of bottled water so we don't need to fill the jug in the toilet. Please consider. Thank you all.

The room is spacious, nice and warm and also the bed is good. The room doesn't have clean water I mean the tape water I have to use the water from the washroom which is not hygienic. Thanks

Noisy! The road noise was loud and constant. Noise from the room next door was loud, we could hear them as if they were in our apartment. The walls seem to be very thin. Would never stay here again.
