This was an incredible experiene. The room was extremely clean. It was well laid out. Chris and his family were most gracious and helpful. Despite being full there was no sound transmission. The white fish in the restaurant is to die for. Ill figure out a way to make it back here.

Great spot. Walk over to the beach on the lake and watch the sunset. Short drive to Lake Superior Park. Friendly owners. Restaurant on site. Renovations to rooms. Very comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable. Restaurant right on property and food was excellent! 5 min from beach. Owner very approachable and accommodating. I loved that we got a text a few hrs before arrival telling us which room we were in and how to access the key.

I’d stay again

Very nice room and host. Shower fixtures could use an upgrade but the room was very nicely appointed. The king bed was very comfortable and their attention to pet needs was great.

Fresh and fun

We arrived and immediately were greeted and told how to access our room and that the restaurant was still open. The food was fresh and tasty. No air conditioning could have been a factor but the large fan ensured we had a comfortable rest. The sunset was gorgeous too!

This stay was exceptional. The hosts took such care for comfort in the room. I loved the aesthetic. The bed was the best I’ve had, not just in a motel, but in a stay. I was worried about the proximity to the highway (just for noise) but the new windows really masked the noise. I’m so pleased and will rave this motel. We had a couple of crummy stays along our route and the shower I had when we arrived here was so nice. We will be back!

It is a cozy motel, rooms very nicely renovated. Bed was a king and so comfortable and I wanted to take the pillows home with me they were so awesome. It is a family run motel , such a charming couple and their son. Extremely welcoming and helpful. The restaurant and bar will be open next week, we will be back, can’t wait!! Highly recommend!!
There is a replica of the Stanley Cup in the soon to open restaurant, thought that was cool since the Edmonton Oilers are playing in the finals now. My husband is holding it up!!
