Does United offer free movies?
Yes, most United flights will have free movies and TV on board. United knows you need your entertainment, and they’re happy to make you happy. What’s included will depend on your aircraft, but you’ll more than likely have either a seatback entertainment system or the ability to stream through your personal device using United Private Screening, available through the United app.
Does United charge for carry on?
Most United passengers will not be charged to bring one personal item and one overhead bag. The only passengers who will be charged for a carry-on bag are those who have purchased Basic Economy tickets for a non-trans-Atlantic flight. Your overhead item can be a maximum of 9 inches by 14 inches by 22 inches, so you may need to leave some shoes at home. Check with customer support for further baggage information.
What is United Economy Plus?
United Economy Plus is a ticket class available for purchase. It includes more leg room and a seat at the front of the plane for a comfortable trip and easy disembarking. You’ll also typically get to board before the rest of the economy class passengers. If you really want to cut the line, purchase Priority Boarding in addition to your Economy Plus seat. You’ll then board in Group 2 instead of Group 3.
Does United have free Wi-Fi?
United offers excellent Wi-Fi coverage, but it’s not free. You’ll typically pay a fee to connect to the internet once on board; however, you can sometimes use your miles to purchase Wi-Fi, which is a nice perk. United is a top pick if you just can’t be without internet: all two-cabin regional and main aircraft have it available, except for those travelling to Guam.
What popular destinations does United fly to?
United has flights to more than 350 airports throughout the world—you can pretty much get anywhere on this airline. From Australia, United flies out of Melbourne and Sydney, to many popular U.S. destinations like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Shop ’til you drop in the City That Never Sleeps or get glitzy in Vegas. If you want to explore the U.S., United is your go-to.
