Customer service was very good, and it's a great hotel. The only issue was the power outage and emergency evacuation. My husband is elderly, and he had a lot of trouble making it outdoors in the dark stairwell, with people pushing, etc. He had a few bumps and bruises. Then we stood outside in the very cold weather and no announcement was made on when to come back in. I think staff did their best in a difficult situation, but it seemed like confusion and lack of coordination on what exactly to do -- including how to gain entry into our room again with our key. Again, appreciate the staff trying to do what they could.

Great staff at the front desk! Room & bathroom was clean. I think the only comment I would make is the small fridge & especially ice box. We stayed here one night but we also stayed in an embassy suites in Greenville, South Carolina as well for two nights.

The shower made a very loud noise when the hot water was increased. Also, there were a lot children running around on our floor and making noise late at night. One of them pulled the fire alarm and we had to be evacuated at night into 20 degree weather with a frosty wind chill.

I love this hotel, so grateful it was in walking distance of so many places. The staff was amazing, extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

The room was dirty. Check in was at 4, I couldn’t check in until 7 and even then, then room I requested still wasn’t available.

The first night we didn't have heat in the room. It was one of the coldest nights of the year. I nearly froze to death. This was after I had paid to park on site when I checked in to find no parking places when we returned at night. We were told we had to park in the public garage behind the building. We also had a handicapped person with us. The garage had a sign that stated we had to park on the 3rd floor. After driving to the third floor, there were only 2 cars parked up there with their engines running. They looked very sketchy. We went to the elevator and the elevator didn't work. We were three elderly ladies, so we hurriedly went back to the car and drove down and parked on the first floor. It was freezing that night and we had to walk by 2 more suspicious vehicles. It was a freezing long walk until we could find a door to get in the hotel. The clerk at the desk was rude to us and very unsympathetic to what we told him had transpired. The night of sleeping in a hotel room without heat is what followed. The hotel did fix the heat the next day, but told us it was probably just that they hadn't turned on the heat for our room yet. Now remember this was one of the coldest days of the year! The next night started out okay until about 11:00 pm. I am lying in bed in my pajamas trying to sleep when the heater goes off. The electricity had gone off. Screams are belting through the hotel. We opened the door to pitch blackness with an abundance of screams. Moe to follow...

First I was there for only 2 nights, but the shower had luke warm water. I complained to the front desk staff. They sent someone to fix it, however it never got fixed. When I told them this at check out, I was given 3 business cards to contact a manager. Nothing compensated in my bill. Also someone must have pulled the fire alarm and we had to evaucate for about 15 to 20 minutes in 20 degree weather, another no compensation on my bill. I will NEVER stay at a Embassy Suites hotel again!!
