Ulsteinvik only has one accommodation within a 10-kilometre radius of the downtown area.

Ulsteinvik isn't known as the accommodation capital of the world. It is, however, home to the Quality Hotel Ulstein, which is located 3-kilometre from the city centre.

If you still haven't found a place to set up base in Ulsteinvik, don't freak out just yet. Consider the Aalesund Airport Hotel, 25 kilometres from the middle of the city. Another choice is the Thon Hotel Fosnavag, 12 kilometres away.

Located in a picturesque part of town on the seafront, well away from the cruise ship port. Very convenient for local restaurants and amenities, all within easy walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. If we have a criticism it is that the curtains and not black outs, so the midnight sun in June is disruptive to a good nights sleep. The restaurant is excellent, something we`ve noted at all the Thon restaurants we`ve stayed in.
