First impressions: terrible lack of communication with the host and their rep, we were unable to find out the exact location of the property until half an hour before check in time, this lack of communication was evident right from the beginning, as 3 of our emails to the host prior to our travelling all went unanswered. This made completing the check in requirements difficult and stressful.On arrival we discovered that the flat was part of an on going building site, with access to the flat via a total of 60 steps, no lift, no proper lighting, so unsuitable for a guest with mobility issues. The building works also meant there was dust everywhere, noise and disruption all around from 7 am.On entering the flat, we were met with stifling heat, as there was only one single small A/C unit which would normally be used to cool a single room, this meant, since it was located on the second floor ( where the bedrooms were ) it simply had no chance to cool the flat down properly at all. On questioning this we were told to give the unit 24 hrs to cool the place down !?!? Of course this was nonsense and we had to suffer the heat throughout our stay. Also: no WiFi at all, despite it being stated as available.Not enough towels provided, toilet seat broken. Bins not emptied, floor not cleaned, only 4 hangers available. No follow up or response to our request to be moved. Cleaner arrived a day early for final clean up. Overall terrible experience.
