Upon arrival after 4.5 hours of driving with a 6 year old, getting in around midnight, we found little to no parking. The spots are so narrow that there are nearly inches between you and another vehicle. Our first night we had to go around the parking lot 4 times to find a spot to fit our small suv in. Because it was at night, it made it more difficult. This caused us to avoid leaving by car for any destination at all costs throughout our stay with the fear of losing a decent spot. In addition, while the motel is esthetically pleasing, there were several issues in quality of maintenance. For example, lamps that are in the wall by the beds were falling off and you could not turn them on. The only light option was the ceiling light. The window in the bathroom was poor. Looked like it had a weird film over it or painted over. It also looked like it wasn’t properly sealed at the bottom or unable to close. There was a huge spot on the wall near the AC where a leak may have been, wood floors were separating towards that area of the room as well. Front door was not sealed properly so heat would come in at the top. In addition, we never saw a single staff member. Cynthia was very pleasant on the phone to confirm our room. We did text about an issue with yellow jackets flooding the front door (due to them liking a palm tree) and I did hear them spray. I did complain about the parking with zero response. I could go on but there’s no room left to type.

This property was our first complete let down from Expedia reviews. The photos posted are absolutely nothing like the room we were given. There is NOTHING remodeled in room 2. Loose metal transitions that would be dangerous for a child for sure. 1 window air conditioner in a room with a filthy floor fan to move air to front room. I had to ask for something to clean the fan as it was blowing huge chunks of dirt across the room. Rusted bathroom fixtures. Frozen over fridge/freezer that smelled like rotten meat. The couch was so filthy we had to use a sheet to cover it before we could sit on it. This place is a dump. It does appear room 18 and up are possibly updated, but do not accept 1-17 for sure. There’s not even a rug to wipe your feet so you carry in all the sand and dirt from your feet right to where you sleep. The only plus to this place is the walk to the beach is only 5 mins across street. We would not stay in this hotel again for any reason at all.

I will have to say the lady at the front desk was super nice and really loved her! But I have to say that the pictures are very deceiving and when I say very I mean very deceiving. The room with two beds is tiny, The bathroom was so small you have to turn sideways to use the toilet and the door to the bathroom is a sliding door that doesn't even close So maybe if it's just a couple or something like that it would be okay but yeah. It was close to the beach so that was nice The rooms were fairly clean The pool was nice. Just the price that we paid for a night in that tiny room I just don't know. And also the parking at this motel is super ridiculous you will be lucky to get a parking spot most likely not by your room. Heaven forbid you move because you'll come back with nowhere to park.

A very quaint 1950s retro two story hotel. Window air conditioner ran off/on all night. Bathroom window does not lock so first floor window to road behind hotel. Very clean and very comfortable beds. Bedside table light does not work.

Nice Little Motel.

Cute little boutique hotel. Room was clean, although the shower floor could use some cleaning/bleach. Cute decor, fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Comfy bed. Tiny bathroom, but served its purpose. Smallest sink I’ve ever seen in the states. Good TV. Parking is very tight… but at least it’s there and free. Nice pool. Great check in and out!
