Introducing our budget-friendly family getaway!
This 2nd floor home is nestled amidst blooms of jasmine, magnolias and bottle brush plants, with a private screened in porch and a newly renovated interior! The essence of this home is the lush greenery which make it feel like you’re staying in a tree house! When the jasmine is in bloom, the scents will be intoxicating!
Guests will enter through the charming picket fence that showcases the seating around our firepit. Under a large magnolia tree, bougainvillea & jasmine blooms your family can make smores and memories! There is a shady, paved walkway that leads around to the back stairs that ascend to the 2nd story entrance of the home. The owners’ live in the ground floor apartment that is located behind, rather than under the main house.
Up the stairs to the "tree house like" porch, you will enter the sunny, newly renovated open area including living, dining and kitchen. The kitchen is outfitted with new quartz countertops and plenty of storage and counter space for the whole family to gather. The cozy living room is outfitted with a smart TV, books & games for entertainment. Out the front door is the screened porch with comfy seating to enjoy the cool breezes.
The first bedroom down the hall is the kids room where the owner painted a custom “Minions” nightstand and we have bunk beds with FULL size mattresses – 2 FULL size bunk beds. Plenty of books and games for various ages. Our second bedroom is bright, with shades of grey and pink on the new queen size bed. All beds and linens are brand new!
The first full bathroom is bright and cheerful and also has a full-sized washer & dryer for our guests to use. The bathroom has a combo tub/shower and new vanity and tile flooring!
The primary bedroom at the end of the hall features a new king bed with a walk-in closet & en-suite bathroom. The freshly renovated bathroom has a calming, blue-tiled shower, tile floors, and a new vanity sink and cabinet.
Located on Laurel Avenue, we are ONE short block off of Butler Avenue; the main highway that extends through Tybee Island. You are steps away from numerous shops and restaurants. So park the car and walk to lunch, dinner and the beach. Zunzibar, Tybean Coffee Bar, Huc-a-Poos and the Tybee Bakery are just a few of the walkable places for a cup of coffee or lunch!
BEACH ACCESS: There are 2 options for getting to the beach. One is Polk Street at "mid-beach". The 2nd option is Bryer Street at corner of Bryer & Bay Street. Both are about .5 mile walk from the house. Polk Street and "mid-beach" seem to have calmer currents and this is a very quiet part of the island!
We are offering low rates to introduce the home, so bring your family and have a great stay on Tybee Island without breaking the bank!
NOTES: OCCUPANCY: Maximum of 6 people at all times, including infants & children. No exceptions!

PARKING: MAX 2 vehicles allowed. No trailers or RVs allowed. The owners who live downstairs use the garage and under-house "car port". Guests may NOT park under the house.
NOISE: This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, loud music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort. This is a family oriented neighborhood with year-round tenants. Violators may be evicted and/or fined. The City of Tybee Noise Ordinance requires strict observance of QUIET TIME between 10 pm and 8 am. Tybee Island Police and the neighborhood strictly enforce this. The individual violators (not the property owner) can be fined by the City of Tybee.

Quiet getaway
Great little place to stay on Tybee Island. It is a quiet neighborhood away from everything so you will definitely need transportation to get to the beach and restaurants. The house is clean and cool and worked very well for our family of 5. Be sure to visit the Polk St beach. It is a quiet little spot to with very little tourist traffic and plenty of beach. You can sit and watch the ships come in and out all day!
