Stayed at Hotel Tybee for one night, staff was nice enough to check us in an hour early and offer a complimentary drink but because we booked through a third party site they charged an extra $42.00 to park in the hotel owned lot, use beach chairs that are already in the room, and bikes if we choose to. We found the room to be dirty. There was a dirty sock behind the air conditioner, an old cookie under the tv stand, along with dusty on everything, hair in the bathroom along with it not being cleaned or wiped down properly. The bed sheets, pillows and towels seemed were very clean. The air conditioner in the room was broken so they had a separate-extremely extremely noisy floor unit. Our balcony did have a great view of the ocean with access to the beach extremely close.

The hotel is old & needs remodeling. The AC unit was not cooling well & they don't have great access to the beach bc its to far to walk. There's not much to do on Tybee unless you wanna walk for everything. The TV has no instructions so you just flip channels until you find something, need a guide for channels. Room wss very small for 2 queens and definitely over priced.

Great spot. No frills. No vending machine. Water. or traditional lobby. Beach access close but across a small public parking lot. We had beachfront side but ground floor so we saw the parking lot and dunes only. Ask for top floor if you want to see ocean view!! Great price point. Very clean. Updated remodeled rooms. Bathrooms are pretty small! But clean

The room have bed bugs and the mattress was dirty and I had to ask the manager to look at the mattress because I had so many bites and also my husband had bites in his body and hands, I was told that we will be reimburse for the two days. we can't sleep the first night because the bites and also the noise was so bad the people next to our room was smoking marijuana outside our room with other 10 people making a lot noise until 3:00 am. We left the next day. I am still trying to get my money back. I was refunded by the hotel only 85.00 dollars. I am hoping we get back my money back for the two days. we onl6y stay one day. Please check your mattress before you stay in this hotel. There was blood and mold in the mattress.
