Normally you can check in before posted time i asked them to get the room at 3.20 pm and they said room is not ready and have to wait until 5. Bed was not comfortable and was some insects in the wash room and shower water not powerful.for sure not worth $475 a night.

Poor management / communication

Hotel sent us an email a week before arrival that gave details about check in. Included a note that said that the pool was closed in the off season starting in September. When we arrived we learned that the pool has been closed almost all season. Since June the lady at the counter said. I said that it’s unfortunate that the email that they sent didn’t include this information as it was still within the cancellation window and we could have changed to a different hotel as we were travelling with kids. She said “yeah I don’t know why we don’t update that email.” I asked for management to speak to us about this but no one did. We were there for 3 nights. The hotel could have been more transparent about this as clearly people with children look for pools when booking. It’s disappointing that they don’t take 5 minutes to update their email that goes out and even more disappointing that management does not take the time to respond to customers. Will not stay here again. The hotel is also dated and the building we were in smells like engine oil.

Quiet and beautiful mountains surrounding us. Many things to do that are walkable since town is quite small. Room was very clean with the crisp white linens. I will definitely return with family and friends.

Nice place, they are renovating and the rooms are very dated. The Restaurant and Bar were closed for private function which was a drag. It is conveniently located in a great spot and I would definately consider to stay there again.

central location though room was above restaurant not sure room was set aside for us as we had to wait half jour to get room assigned to us staff was not friendly or warm- had little to say or recommend about the area - really did nt seem t care about an expedia reservation , when asked about the breakfast menu at lounge they did not seem to want to recommend the place

Easy check in and check out, great location near to anywhere! Room outdated with musty smell and feel with the old carpet, old furniture, comfy bed with clean linens but with only two small pillows. Older TV no YouTube working, microwave and coffee maker working. Nice tub, separate shower. Needed extra night, booked directly at this hotel and paid $350 — that’s a lot and not worth the room, so book only if lower in booking sites then maybe getting value for money, otherwise, $350 is a rip off for the age of the room.

Our kids were expecting for a pool dip after our adventures, but the pool and tub were closed. It could have been advised prior… We also ask to borrow plates, but they did not accommodate and only plastic utensils were given. Room is old, but to be fair, they try their best to make it clean.

The room that I saw on the website wasn’t the same one I stayed in. Flooring around the toilet was cracked. Called for an extra pillow (king bed only 3 pillows). Went to reception to ask for another pillow. Said they would drop it off right away. Never got said pillow. Good location to shops. Paid waaaay too much for room that was unsatisfactory.

We arrived on Friday August 1 of a long weekend so it was very busy. The room they put us in was very old but looked clean. We were laying on the bed and started to notice a few bugs landing on the bed. We killed several and called the front desk. They told us there were an unusual amount of these bugs because of the rain they had been experiencing and the fact that the park was unable to spray for them. I asked to be moved but there were no rooms available. We slept in the room but I felt very uncomfortable and of course thought there were always bugs on me. The next morning I went to the front desk and they had a newly renovated room for us with a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. The front desk staff were very accommodating and apologetic. Our new room was lovely and they even gave us a refund. So although the first room was not good the hotel certainly stepped up to make us happy. My suggestion is if you are staying here make sure you ask for a renovated room. Hopefully eventually they will all be renovated.
