Secluded and Sexy, Swimming Pool, Garden & Cave on Boundary of Joshua Tree Park

Get away to a stunning retreat adjacent to the Joshua Tree National Park, surrounded by trees, boulder outcroppings and caves. The landscape will remind you of the Mediterranean while being immediately on the Joshua Tree National Park. Take cuttings of our fragrant rosemary and cypress home with you! We provide a tour of the garden and house upon arrival. Chill out in a grove of fragrant cypresses and pines surrounded by giant outcroppings of stone. Plunge into a 36 ft. x 20 ft. x 6 ft deep saltwater pool with scents of jasmine, rosemary, and cypress. Cut rosemary, Desert Bird of Paradise, Wisteria, Arizona Blue cypress, and French lavender to take home with you. The garden has wonderful fragrances unlike any other place in the desert. Hike right into the national park to see bobcats, hawks, owls, foxes, lizards, and Gambels quail. There are three bedrooms and a sofa sleeper in the living room which is good for one person, or a child. There are many cushions to make an additional pallet bed in the library. The kitchen is furnished for chefs. Cozy up on a carpet in our three-chamber cave over a wood fire. We provide a carpet to make the cave cozy. We love hosting children who adore animals and exploring caves.
Explore our Valley of the Moon caves and canyons immediately behind the house where you'll not see other hikers. Absolute privacy. Explore dramatic rock formations of the Joshua Tree National Park without getting into your car. Ideas for hiking trails from the house directly into the park are provided during our tour upon your arrival. Villa dei Fiori is the home of a filmmaker and author who has created a haven for solitude and serenity. Bighorn sheep are often seen on the boulders over the house. Bring your your camera and binoculars. We provide pruners to cut fragrant rosemary, French lavender, Carolina jasmine, and Arizona Blue cypress to take home.. Pruning shears are by the kitchen door and we have many vases for making bouquets. Rejuvenate at Villa dei Fiori with aroma therapy and tranquility.

The pool is open 12 months of the year but the best swimming time begins in April and May and lasts through mid-October, after which time it begins to cool down due to falling night time temperatures. Joshua Tree is often 12 degrees cooler than Palm Springs. The hot spa heats to 104 degrees. The propane barbecue is on the kitchen terrace just 12 feet from the kitchen adjacent to the laundry room. Two dining terraces overlook the boulders and a Joshua Tree. You surrounded by the heavenly scent of Arizona Blue cypress, Desert Bird of Paradise, Tuscan rosemary and French lavender.
