Restaurant, front desk and facility staff were the best around. Wyndham is very lucky to have such amazing staff. The pools are relaxing and beautiful and it's a great place to unwind if you are not looking to stay in the loud beachfront party scene. However, be aware that the walls are paper thin and the hotel A/C system is hit or miss. So bring ear plugs and make sure you check the a/c works in your room before settling in.

I was disappointed with the overall stay. The room lacked amenities. Water pressure was off in the restroom, and there was a Lack of hot water. The service was terrible. The free breakfast buffet was disgusting, and there were flies all over the food. We were so disappointed that we checked out one day early.

The place looks nice on photos and some what in person too. They spent more money to make the front water feature than the actual pool. The pool is sub par with insects all over. And the Fancy island on the room kitchnets were cracked - my biggest problem that i faced was there was no electricity in the rooms for 2 days. I checked in and the property said they are having some isses, no one else was having issues. They had generators to run the AC in the lobby, but not in the rooms. We were promised 30 mins it will be back... took 7 hours. Next day morening 6 am the AC stopped workin gin 90 degree weather, and its became humid and unbearable. We went to breakfast and flies and mosquitoes everywhere. We didnt eat, it kinda felt lackluster.

Positives: The hotel itself and grounds are immaculate as you would expect since it was opened in 2025. It is very 'open plan' so there are large open areas of concrete which seemed to be a waste of space. The Club Room is the size of a small apartment with a private terrace and jacuzzi. Room was cleaned daily. The restaurant is open to the elements so be prepared if you are dining in inclement weather. Breakfast (buffet breakfast may be included) was adequate enough and not short in supply. There's a good dinner selection at prices comparable to restaurants in the town and the quality was good. Service provided by the staff in general was always good, particularly the concierge and restaurant staff. It's a good 30 minute walk to the centre of Tulum, but there are many places where you can rent anything with wheels. There is plenty of free parking underground on offer. Internet service was robust enough. Negatives: Reception experience on arrival was poor. Was given no information about the hotel nor towel etc. Could be more lively on that. Facilities at the hotel are limited to restaurant, gym and outside court, so do not expect a spa or alike. TV services are very limited, so you may want to bring your own device. Road leading to the hotel is unfinished and without lighting. There was also an open sewer which overflowed. Not such a big issue since it's a few minutes walk to the main street but first impressions for guests not good. Bring mosquito repellent.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at Wyndham Tulum hotel, and I feel it's important to highlight some serious issues for future guests. The biggest problem was the lack of water in my room. From 10:00 PM until 3:00 PM the next day, I had no access to water, which is an absolute basic necessity. This was an enormous inconvenience, especially considering how essential water is for daily needs. Not having water for such an extended period severely impacted my comfort and ability to use the room. In addition to this, there was a loud generator located near my room that created a constant noise, both in my room and in the hallway. When the generator runs, there is also a strong smell of smoke that comes through the air conditioning vent, which made it difficult to stay in the room. I reported this issue to the hotel staff, and they temporarily turned off the generator, but it started running again around 2:00 PM, making the situation even worse. I had to turn off the A/C to avoid the smoke smell. Given these major issues, I cannot recommend this hotel. The lack of water alone was a dealbreaker, and the noise and smoke compounded the discomfort. I hope the hotel addresses these problems to improve the experience for future guests.

Room was great! You really feel the peace at this ressort, outside the main area and in the nature. Would recommend to stay. Points for improvement: More towels would be great (incl.small ones); bathrobes and slippers would be appreciated. Breakfast is not that varied and after 2 days you really feel the lack of variation. Also, flies flying around at the open stuff at breakfast (no one of the staff was really concerned about this).

Enjoyed our stay here. Worth the price. Clean and luxurious. Without a car, a taxi is basically needed to get anywhere. One-bedroom suite was spacious and fit our needs. Limited appliances and plates/utensils/glassware, but you can call the front desk and have it delivered from the common dining area. Breakfast included was great and made it easy. The place was quite empty, so had no problems finding space by the pool or in the dining area.
