We absolutely LOVED the rooms we rented. We stayed in the Long Room and the mandarin. Both were fantastic, the only downside is my mother is allergic to cats and she had an allergic reaction once she played on the bed. I later found out they do allow cats in the rooms so that was a bummer for momma. Aside from that everything was AMAZING!

I've stayed here a number of times while visiting my father and the rooms are always very charming and clean. You also can't beat the price. There are fancier accommodations in town but Pelican spa is great. I highly recommend the P.A.M. Also has the hottest mineral pools in town.

I rated the Pelican as a 5 when I arrived. However, the room on second look was not very clean: a hank of cut off hair on the bathmat, hair on the floor and in the shower, dirty walls and floors. I had over a 90 minute wait for a tub to soak (told it would be 30 minutes). The staff was friendly to a point- the man at the desk especially kind. The other, not so much,

I wouldn’t stay. I requested my money back. I was offered another room but declined. No money back. It’s outdated, it smelled, the soaking tubs were gross looking. I do not recommend this stay.

NEVER AGAIN!

First to start we couldn’t get a bottom floor, even after letting the front desk know we were handicap. The room was less than I expected by far, the floors squeak… and you can hear the neighbors floors as well. The toilet is facing right into a wall, so we had to sit side ways. The showers were so gross with mold and hard water stains so we didn’t even get a shower. The beds had dirt on them and the comforter had blood. We had nowhere else to stay so we had to go buy our own bedding for the night. To use the hot springs tubs is almost impossible as you have to wait like 30 mins after someone else fills their tub. The towels in the room were stiff and very clearly from the 80-90s. I will never stay here again, i’m disappointed there was no pictures to go off only what the business post which are not what the rooms look like to date.

I have stayed here before and absolutely love it. The rooms in the Pink Pelican are so unique and charming. Each room has its own "theme" and layout so its always a new experience with each stay. The hours for soaking in the spa are a very reasonable. You can even get in for a soak the day of check-out. While they didnt offer breakfast there is usually a fresh pot of coffee in the lobby area. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance or a short driving distance. The staff is super friendly, the rooms and property are clean and well maintained The only minor complaint but it wasn't a big deal for me was that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear your "neighbors" T or C is a great town and Im looking forward to going back and staying at the Pelican Inn again

It was a large one bedroom apartment rather than just a room. Very well designed decor throughout. Healing hotspring soak tubs included although I didn't use one. (Wish I had)

The soaking spa area was within the lobby area for check in/out as well as sign in for spa. Only 1 room in pelican has an indoor spa soak tub. Some rooms have showers outside in an inclosed backyard"ish" area, water is hot so i like being cold and showering outside. Best location to walk almost around the whole town. 1m walk to passion pie for breakfast. 1m walk to museum, post office.

Not for me

The office staff was very helpful in accommodating us , we chose to change rooms to be closer to the soak tubs , they were able to that , also was able to find me a blow dryer (because none is provided in the room) as far as amenities, basically none . Upon entering our room we first noticed how dingy and old the couch was , the area rug was also not very nice , old . I realize this is an eclectic place and there were a few items in the waiting room that were pretty interesting. So a waiting room? Yes because for whatever reason you have to wait for tubs to fill, just one tub at a time can be filled . Mostly wait times were not more than 20 to 30 mins, so not too bad . There was a coffee maker but no coffee , everything was just old. I used some sheets and blankets to cover the couches so we could sit . The tubs could use some tlc as well . I really want to say the staff did what they could. But we will not be staying here again
