The good-The lifts literally ran outside the window. Perfect ski in/out location. Adequate on-site parking and walk to village area. Appreciated all the extra coat hooks in the hallway. Not good-communication with property manager. Not informed there was a known issue with tv prior to check in. No tv or internet until later in day 2. And even then, only tv in living room worked, not the one in the bedroom. Not good for the non-skier college professor who needed to be connected. Manager was also not able to provide access code to laundry area until day 2, which was day 6 of our trip and we had planned on facilities being available. The manager's gruff demeanor was off-putting as we tried to work through issues. Interior is dated, but functional. Old leather couch cushions very worn and uncomfortable. Floor molding around bathtub broken. No ski storage.

Great unit, poor management

Northstar units are generally old. This unit was also old, but has updated appliances, which was nice. The longer dining table and two full couches were also nice to have. They do not have benches for the dining table as shown in their pictures. They only have four chairs. The unit was in the perfect location. So physically, the unit was great. However, the management was not great. The person who gave us the keys was very sarcastic. His office was a total mess. I thought I went to the wrong place. I had to call him later to ask for the ski locker key since it wasn’t in the unit as usual for Northstar condos. He didn’t know about it, and never got back to me. We had to store our skis and snowboards in our car. Luckily, our parking space was right outside our unit so it wasn’t too inconvenient. In addition, these units usually come with shampoo/soap. However, he sent the Cleaning crew back and gave us expired shampoo and soap which we did not use. The hand soap and dishwashing soap were also pretty gross. We ended up buying our own shampoo/soap/hand soap/dish, dishwashing soap. So if we removed the management part of our stay, and if we had the ski locker key as expected,and if we had planned to bring our own soaps, I would have given this place a five star.

We recently completed our stay at your condo. While the location was excellent, we experienced several severe safety hazards and maintenance issues that significantly impacted our comfort and peace of mind.We are bringing these to your attention immediately so they can be resolved for future guests: Front Door Lock Defect: Our primary and most serious concern was that the front door would not lock from the inside. This created a highly anxious and unsafe environment, forcing us to wedge a chair against the door at night to secure it against intruders. Exposed Carpet Nails: The transition from the carpet to the front door entrance has exposed nails poking through. Walking on this area is incredibly dangerous and caused painful pokes; it is a major liability that could easily cause a severe puncture injury. Bathroom Safety Hazard: Stepping out of the bathtub is highly dangerous due to an excessively steep, unmitigated transition drop. Broken Amenities: The fireplace did not function, the deck light was completely burned out, and various other light fixtures throughout the condo would not turn on at all. Outdated Furnishings: The master bed need to be upgraded to a modern queen size. The overall decor and infrastructure are incredibly dated and in desperate need of a remodel.
