Near Northstar's ski village and association amenities, this retreat backs to a forest greenbelt with its very own sledding hill. The open layout links the well-appointed kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances with the sunny dining area and spacious living room boasting vaulted ceilings. The wood-burning stove provides warmth. Enjoy outside on the large deck that overlooks a beautiful, large open space.

Please Be Advised: Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order.

We really enjoyed staying in this cozy A-frame with large windows and deck! Be sure to utilize the free shuttle service with pickup right at your driveway if you’re heading to Northstar Resort, just minutes away!

Snowed in at Northstar

We came up for a weekend visit to Northstar and quickly realized that road conditions were going to be tough for our return down into the Valley when the weekend was over. We turned to VRBO to find suitable accommodation to ride out the storm and couldn't have asked for a nicer property to stay in than this one. The picture window, the open space, and nice kitchen made riding out the storm a pleasure.

Lovely house, quiet neighborhood

Lovely home and neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was very cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Epically convenient for skiing Northstar. Excellent communication from the property manager. Summertime visitors be forewarned that due to a Placer County sound ordinance, you can’t play music outside (or inside with the windows open). Highly recommend!
