Welcome to the Highland A-Frame—a classic mountain cabin perched above the Truckee River with views of the Carson Range, Mount Rose, and Northstar. This inviting 2-bedroom plus bonus room, 3-bathroom home is the perfect year-round getaway, offering rustic charm, thoughtful upgrades, and breathtaking scenery from nearly every window.​

Soak up the sunshine and take in the views from the upper deck, or cozy up inside the great room with its beautiful wood finishes and expansive wall of windows that frame the surrounding peaks.

Charming Bedrooms
Each bedroom is designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The primary suite is conveniently located on the first floor with an ensuite bathroom, while the guest rooms upstairs offer abundant natural light and peaceful views.

Primary Bedroom (Ground Floor): The serene primary suite features a queen bed, twin bed, trundle bed, 55" Smart TV and en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and dual vanities.

Second Bedroom (Top Floor): This tranquil retreat offers a queen bed with access to the upper deck and Jack & Jill bathroom.

Bonus Room (Top Floor): Perfect for families, this bonus room has two twin beds, two trundle beds, access to the second bedroom and Jack & Jill bathroom.

Our home, like most in Tahoe, doesn’t have central air conditioning. However, there are ceiling fans in every room, plus two window fans, two tower fans and the cooler nighttime temps help keep things comfortable year-round.

Tahoe can be wild—think fires, storms, or the occasional Wi-Fi hiccup. These things are beyond our control, so thanks for your patience. Refunds for such issues are reviewed case by case.

Our cancellation policy is firm—refunds are not provided for weather, air quality, road closures, or other travel hiccups. (Pro tip: consider travel insurance!)
