Clean and cozy. Tim and Jen were very nice. Rustic. Quiet, away from town. Perfect get away. Close to several water falls. Good base camp for the Porkies and the Keweenaw Peninsula.

The staff was very friendly. Motel room has a full size refrigerator and a microwave. It’s very basic, but provided what we needed for our two night stay.

I thought the place was perfect minus the dogs. But maybe I should’ve done some better research. If you don’t like dogs, do not stay here or do I don’t care. Check-in was simple aside from being barked at(greeted) but a greeting stops after one or two barks right not just consistent barking and trying to jump over the counter at me. Then again I’m not a dog person. Then on my second night stay I get back from exploring the wilderness all day to my next door neighbor saying hi which was wonderful, but come to find out they have a dog as well. That dog just kept barking and barking. I’m sorry but not really, do you people not train your dogs?! I mean you wouldn’t just let your kid or spouse just sit there continuing to yell at someone right? So, train your dogs! Or you probably just don’t care. Anyways great little get away in the Ottawa National Forest.

Easy check in and out. Friendly owners and accessible. Room clean, large refrigerator which was very nice. Lots of hooks in various places which was so handy and the beds were comfortable. Water is shower was hard to regulate. Would definitely go back.

Very cute and cozy cabins. Simple. Had all the basics you could need for a weekend trip. We came out of season for some winter hiking and the waterfalls nearby. The guide in the room was informational about where things were and what we could do.

Honestly the room was nice. Staff was extremely rude. If another location would have been available nearby I would have immediately checked out and left. I'm an avid hiker and camper and choose this place to be in nature. Was NOT as pictured or advertised.
