Stay away from this place.

The coffee maker only works if the light is on. That would have been useful information. The bathroom had lots of mildew. The paint was ripped off the door frame at the floor. The room smelled musty. The shower wouldn’t come on, facet worked fine, but the thing you pull up for the shower wouldn’t move. So I couldn’t shower. When I reported this to the guy at the desk he didn’t apologize or offer to send someone to help.

older hotel, no carpeting, we had a pet room, bugs, dirty coffee pot, the restaurant was not up to par, I ordered stir fry and it was brought to the room but was in two containers, one for rice and and one for it looked like stew. Apparently the chef did not know how to make stir fry, plus it was over price.

Dinning experience was not great. Water glasses were upside down on tables when seated. Seems unsanitary. Salad dressing was bad. Music too loud. Room was dirty. Lots of pet hair under beds, in window sills by plug ins. Sheets and bedding seemed clean but room was not overall very clean

Pros: Good breakfast. Also good restaurant on site. Convenient to central Trinidad. Cons: Our room was in a separate, perhaps older, building. The other wings of the motel might have nicer rooms. Our room had an inadequate number of electrical outlets. The shower was across the room from the toilet and sink . Rather soft mattress. Poor visual quality on the flat screen TV, and few channels. The drapes didn't entirely cover the sliding glass door.
