8/10 Good

Our unit was in a most desirable location, with generous deck space, behind dunes with lush plant growth and a "garden" of shells and coral and fanciful objects. The master bedroom had opaque curtains and his-and-hers closets; and the unit had thick, thirsty bath towels. The twin beds were on platforms, providing extra storage space underneath. We met friendly folks at the daily 5:30 gatherings on a large, partially covered deck overlooking the beach, near the pool, with plenty of seating and a gas fire pit. A library/church is across the street from the neighborhood. We felt that three people would fit more comfortably than four here. We suggested to the manager that the unit could use a dishpan and dish drain, measuring cups and spoons, a tree lamp for reading, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, and a starter packet of detergent. The washer in the unit was out of service, but there are token-operated washers and dryers on the property.Visitors should be aware that potable water must be used, and it is available on site for 1/gallon. We'd suggest bringing foil, storage containers, your own pillows, and spices.
