Two Days in TC at Cherry Tree

Amazing staff every where. Comfy Beds. Beautiful setting. However, stains on carpet, rust on shower bar. Barking dogs until 11:15 and starting again at 6:45. It was like they were in our room as we had a connecting door. Do not put dogs in these types of rooms. We love animals, but this was stressful.

Our stay at Cherry Tree was great. Staff was wonderful. Our room on the 4th floor was clean and quiet. Bed was clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the bay was a plus as the views were beautiful. My only negative was the carpet in our room could use a shampoo or replacement. Would definitely stay here again if we're in Traverse City, again.

Great experience!

Stayed in a Walloon Lake Suite. Had a lovely view of the bay. The room was nice and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. The room and property overall were very clean. A wonderful experience and will definitely stay there again!

Check in was 2.5 hours late. Room lighting was very poor . They did bring an extra lamp when we complained but it was in poor shape and had to be unplugged to turn off. They had planned to charge an extra $25 for the night for an “activity fee” which was not advertised on Expedia but ended up waving it due to my complaint about the late check in.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. It is apparent that like hotels these days the housekeeping staff is at a minimum. Therefore, different housekeeping approaches are in place. The days of daily room cleaning and room amenities should not be taken for granted. Our room very very clean. Thank you. The property is older but in very good condition. The breakfast and women who worked there did a FABULOUS job. The location was so convenient and the views were spectacular. Thank you Cherry Hill for a great stay.

Our problem was our room was not ready for check-in. We weren't able to check in until 7:00. They were short cleaning staff. We were compensated with the removal of the resort fee. However, we weren't able to clean up and dress for our dinner reservations. We were celebrating our 59th anniversary.

Beautiful find. The view outside our window was fantastic. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a bit sparse for gluten free options. Very quiet.

Good location. Great view from the balcony. Nice room. Comfortable bed. Room wasn't ready until almost 2 hours after check in time, which was odd but definitely was clean when we walked in as the floor was still drying. Fitted sheet didn't fit the bed and it was put on upside down so made us wonder if it was even changed, just was weird.

We booked elk suites for two nights . Room was clean but very smelly. Do not recommend. However breakfast was good and the lady works at breakfast section was very respectful and nice.
