If i could give this hotel 2.5 stars i would have. Pros:Our room was nice, clean, and spacious. The hotel has a good location. Cons: below average amenities. Pool is small. They advertise a game room, very lame. They advertise the "best breakfast" it was below average for any hotel

The location is absolutely amazing, with a stunning lake view right in front of you. Even if there were any minor issues with the stay, the kindness and friendliness of the staff made all complaints fade away. Breakfast was a bit disappointing since the menu was the same two days in a row. However, the unlimited cookies and coffee were a real highlight and truly wonderful. Thanks to that, we’re leaving with sweet memories. We’re already looking forward to coming back in the summer!

we had an amazing beach view with a fireplace. breakfast was delicious. My only ask is for freshly made oatmeal as the instant is not as good. We were off season so that may be why. Otherwise the entire experience was just the best and the team was attentive and outstanding!

Room was clean. We wanted a basic room and got lucky to have a balcony looking over the bay. We only stayed one night so I don't have much to say. Breakfast hours were very short so unfortunately we missed breakfast. The room was very hot and we ended up turning the air on in the middle of January just to be comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tub was nice. Very quite hotel.

The windows didn’t open. The blinds didn’t work. Staff plays music at 7 AM and it doesn’t end until 7 PM.

We stayed in the Walloon Suite and unfortunately our room was not in great condition. Several lights didn’t work at all. Know that several of the rooms do NOT have a window in them. The staff was great, friendly and accommodating but they were booked so we couldn’t switch rooms. I spend a lot of time in Traverse throughout year and keep a list of places I have stayed for future reference. Unfortunately Cherry Tree will no longer be an option. While it’s great to have a friendly staff, it’s just a very run down place now.
