It's beautiful and for people attending the VIS conference it is extremely convenient. The staff are very helpful and the atmosphere is positive. However ... the world has moved along, and I would have appreciated a kettle to make tea and a coffee maker -- these are standard items in an upscale hotel. A mini fridge would be nice as well, and a source of revenue for the hotel. Having said this, I will book a room for VIS 2016!

Huge disappointment.

Positives: the building, views across harbour & staff were good. We very much looked forward to staying at the hotel for the above reasons, the 4* rating & the expectations set by the hotel website. Unfortunately the service received did not live up to the 4* rating or the website expectations. To say we were disappointed is a massive understatement.
