One night business stay, staff were lovely, ate in the bar and the food was really good, breakfast was also excellent. Hotel is old school , lovely open fire going as you come in the front door. Stay in hotels a lot with work and this is the type of hotel thats getting harder to find these days - keep up the good work, I'll definitely be coming back for a visit!

A nice hotel in Tralee.

I stayed one night in The Grand. Nice room and great breakfast. Maybe the only drawbacks were the lack of a lift and a fairly rude night porter.

Room was very hot when we arrived, windows were wide open on a hot day. Reception provided a fan on request. Service could be a little slow at breakfast and the continental selection was very limited, if it hadn’t been included in the room rate I wouldn’t have wanted to pay for it. Staff were all very friendly. There was air conditioning in the communal seating area on the first floor but not in the rooms, so you walked through a lovely, and very under used, chilled area into a warm corridor and then into a really warm room, not the best use of resources. Why wasn’t the aircon in the bedrooms? Didn’t see a lift and the car park is a few minutes walk away, so not ideal if you have mobility issues.

Perfect location for getting around the town, and surrounding areas. Easy to get everywhere in and around town. Newly renovated rooms. The room itself had a rain shower head. I would equate it to a spa style personal bathroom. Absolutely lovely! Easy access to delicious breakfast options, as well as a pub which is also part of this Boutique Hotel with tasty lunch and dinner options. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Located in the heart of the town of Tralee.

Comfortable

Comfortable well furnished rooms with a very comfy bed. The room door could do with better sound proofing but there isn't a lot of traffic outside the rooms. Air conditioning would be nice for the summer as it was quite warm when I visited. The restaurant was a little over priced. I'd advise always ordering fish as every fish dish I had was delicious and perfectly cooked, whereas meat was dry and tough, in my experience at least. The bar and restaurant both had a nice traditional / antique atmosphere which was very pleasant to spend time in. I would stay again.

The restaurant and bar staff were excellent. My room was also nice. Common areas are not clean, especially the carpet/stairs leading to the rooms. The walls are paper thin to where you can hear people urinating in the next room. After a long day got back to my room to rest only to learn there was a 3 hour zoomba class held in an adjacent event room. The front desk staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming.
