Our room had a terrible stench in it. We requested another room. We were given the last room they had left and without telling us we found out that the room had no hot water. The the towels were thin and scratchy. What a waste of money. We will never ever again use Days Inn or even Expedia for recommending that hotel.

Terrible.

There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink was filthy on the inside. The air conditioner is extremely outdated and makes a loud noise the entire time it’s blowing air. It sounds like an airplane engine and was unable to even get a good night sleep. The fire detector was removed from the room.

Staff was nice. However the room was nasty. The outlets did not work. Lamps did not work. Moldy smell immediately when you walk in. Flies and roaches everywhere dead and alive. Filthy room.

Absolutely Horrible and Unsafe – Avoid at All Costs! This was hands down the worst hotel experience of my life. I stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Torrington and left genuinely shocked by the condition of the place and the way I was treated. First, the property is disgusting, the rooms are extremely old, dirty, and smell terrible. Right before entering, we saw a huge snake right outside the main entrance. A real snake, not a joke. I ran away and had to use the side door just to get in. This is clearly due to the owner’s refusal to use pest control, likely trying to save money at the cost of guest safety. As if that wasn’t enough, the owner knocked on my door at 11:00 AM for checkout. I politely asked for a late checkout and he said it would be $50 to stay until 12:30 PM, ridiculous considering the room itself cost $110 for the night. When I declined, he said “no problem, you can stay until 2:30 PM.” I thanked him and went back to rest. Then at 1:00 PM, he banged on the door, and when I opened it, he immediately started screaming, threatening us, and trying to physically confront me. Completely unprofessional and honestly scary. I felt unsafe and completely disrespected. Do not stay here. Between the lack of cleanliness, pest risks, and the dangerously aggressive behavior of the owner, this hotel is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Spend your money elsewhere — anywhere else is better than this place.

Drug dealers, drug patrons and prostitutes seen in parking lot. The motel room was stripped of all amenities and had no drain control in vanity or tub. The beverage dispenser was out of service and our inquiry revealed from manager no plans to repair it. There was no place to sit no chairs in the room. No closet in the room. Telephone in room lacked instructions for use.

Poor accommodations. Tub a mess, few towels. Breakfast lacking- at 8am there was one bagel left, toaster items, cereal and yogurt. No fruit and no hot breakfast items. This Days Inn needs work!

Cold Shower

The 3rd shift front desk person Shelly was phenomenal.. a great employee. The room was very comfortable and clean. But the shower went cold after a few minutes. I waited and tried again with no success. Then finally I was able to get warm water for 4 minutes. Enough to finish my shower. It went cold as I was ready to get out. I don’t take long showers btw. Other than that it was a good stay. I do feel I should be refunded something for the inconvenience

Hotel has much deferred maintenance. Bathroom paint peeling & hole in drywall. Exterior wall has paint peeling from water seeping in. No ADA access or ground level rooms. Staff was very nice.

Basic accommodations

Needed a place to stay for the night was exhausted from riding my motorcycle all day. I requested a room on the first floor towards the back where I parked my bike. They were accommodating to my request and welcome to me and my service dog. The room was clean but had a stale almost musty smell to not only that room but the whole first floor which is halfway underground. The hot water didn't get that hot but was able to take a bath the tub is quite small and difficult to get in and out of. It was quite noisy until about midnight the traffic is insane there and the sound of opening and closing doors is quite loud. They offer a continental breakfast but it consists of stale cereal and cheap bagels and bread to toast. The coffee was okay. It's one of the cheaper hotels in the area and you get what you pay for.
