Please avoid the hotel owner (old guy)at any cost

Decent Stay, but Poor Interaction with Manager/ Owner The location was convenient—close to Toronto airport with only 1 and 1/2 hr drive to Niagara Falls view. Rooms were average; our bathroom door had no lock or clothes hook. Most staff were friendly and helpful. However, the older man at reception (who claimed to be the owner) was rude and dismissive. We booked through Hotels.com because the listing offered a free crib. Staff confirmed this at check-in, but he later tried to charge us $15CAD and argued even when we showed it was listed as free. Eventually, the crib was provided without charge, and another staff member confirmed they never charge for it. Overall, the stay was fine, but this manager’s attitude left a bad impression. He was not only arguing and rude with us but was also with other guests. Very nasty and has 0 customer service.

Avoid the Property Owner /Manager at the reception

The property is fine , on of the room’s bathroom door didnt had door lock to lock it from Inside and the hooks were missing, to hang the clothes. We booked total for nights via hotels.com - two nights each time because we wanted to do Niagara Falls in between for one night. The other staffs were very helpful but the old guy who claims to be the owner of this property was very rude, dismissive and misleading. We requested a baby crib and upon checking the staffs and their website advised baby Cot/Crib is provided for free at the property. But the owner wanted to charge us CAD $15 and mentioned that he will fire his staff members for providing us false information.

It was fine. I was worried when I read some of the reviews, but for our purposes it did the job. Not fantastic, but adequate. Reasonably clean, some repairs in the rooms needed. Breakfast was meh but edible. It was….fine.

This trip was the first, and last time I’d stay at this hotel. The advertised airport shuttle is not well explained and is not very accessible to someone who has never stayed with this hotel before. I was unable to receive a shuttle from the airport to hotel both times I stayed (overnight layover before and after my trip). When I asked the manager about it he was very rude to me and stated that I wasted my money. When I got the shuttle to the airport the next morning - after arguing with the manager to get it, the driver showed up at my room ten minutes prior and told me he’d been waiting for me forever. I stated I was told 930 and he said yes. This was at 920. He then snatched my room key out of my hand and said I’ll just check out for you. I was very uncomfortable in this situation. Overall the hotel itself is not the best either regardless of service. I was walked in on while I was sleeping the first night and the second night my TV started blasting in the middle of the night while my remote was across the room. Would not stay here again nor would I recommend to a friend.
