The Staff at the Hotel were awesome and I would give them 5 stars for friendliness and being helpful. The hotel itself though needs some major improvements starting with the off putting smell that permeated throughout the hotel. I’m not sure what it was from possibly the indoor pool? But it was fowl. Also, in my from the tv remote did not work I had to point it at the side of the wall to get it turned on.

I don’t have an issue with hotel rooms being more expensive on game day but $900 per night should come with a ceiling that doesn’t leak and then cave in on you. Ridiculous! Even worse, I was told someone would contact me to discuss a discount. It’s been a week and still nothing but crickets. Stay somewhere else!

We had to many issues with our room(s) during our stay - toilet wouldn't flush, door wouldn't lock, safe was inoperable, room service was less than desirable, and the parking garage gate did not operate property 50% of the time. Restuarant had high end prices but low-end meals. Staff was very friendly though. Cudos to the Starbucks staff - great service and drinks/food. The hotel is not in the most desirable area of town as there were numerous homeless in the vicinity. Definitely would be hesitant to walk at night without being in a group. Hotel staff attempted to help each time - very apologetic and comp us with various offers - even though it was way too many incidents for a Hilton property. We might have been one of the unlucky patrons as the hotel was completely sold out plus the Notre Dame Football team stays there the night before their home games.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The place is very dated - as in old worn carpet, dingy wals, etc and with a lot of old moldy smells. Our room was redone and looked nice but the mold smell was overwhelming.
