Four bedrooms - 2 bathrooms

A large Zen-style house that can accommodate up to two families (9 people + cot) with its garden just for you and your children. Spacious very bright living room (57 m2). A master suite with a private bathroom including a spa bath as in an institute (organic essential oils provided). A "perched room" of 15 m2 with 3 individual beds. A large bedroom for a second parental couple with direct access to the upstairs bathroom by private corridor. A small attic bedroom with two beds. Outdoor games (giant chess game, ping pong, basketball hoop). Board games and books or magazines (science and junior life for example) for your children.

Otherwise, for a relaxing weekend for two, you can chain a professional balneo bathtub (cycles of 20 min) and why not the services of a professional masseuse (Californian and Ayrudevic massage of RELAXATION ONLY) to spend an excellent cocooning weekend ...

The serenity of the countryside near Rochefort-sur-Mer (10 minutes away, you can visit the Hermione or the house of Pierre Loti). The first beaches (FOURAS) are 15 minutes away with breathtaking views of FORT BOYARD. The essential 4 islands with landscapes so different from our beautiful region: Oléron, Ré, Aix and Madame.

The largest, "Oléron la lumière", the second largest French island in size. A natural site still preserved with magnificent sandy beaches where surfers will have fun and for history enthusiasts the Citadel of Château d'Oléron, Fort Boyard or the Lighthouse of Chassiron. Without forgetting the tasting of the famous "Marennes-Oléron" oysters to please the taste buds.

Departure off La Rochelle to discover "Ré la blanche". Saint Martin de Ré is listed as a World Heritage Site. For cycling fans, the many cycle paths encourage you to discover the treasures of the island at your own pace (sandy beaches, salt marshes, pine forests, all bathed in unique light).

The most charming in our opinion, the island of Aix is above all known for a prestigious host who stayed there: Napoleon Bonaparte. Departure by boat from FOURAS (15 minutes from the house), you can go there only by bicycle which allows a real break. Certain coves remind us of Corsica. Time has stood still on the Isle of Aix for your enjoyment.

Finally the tiny Madame Island (75 hectares) accessible on foot at low tide from Port des Barques. The guaranteed charm of a family walk. Do not be surprised by the tide ;-)

As for sport, gym nearby (800 meters - 1st free session so go at least once if it tempts you) and golf with driving range and 9-hole course (SAINT LAURENT DE LA PRE), beaches some of which (on Oléron for example - go to "la Grande Plage") with very invigorating waves ...

Nous avons passé un bon séjour de 3 jours dans la maison qui est spacieuse et bien aménagée. Nous étions 3 familles avec des enfants de 6 à 9 ans et un chien. Chacun a trouvé sa place et ses occupations dans la maison et le jardin, vrai terrain de jeux pour les enfants. Tout était à disposition pour que nous nous sentions comme chez nous. Seul bémol qui n'est pas du fait des propriétaires : l'invasion de moustiques 😕 Merci à Emmanuel et Didier pour leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse.

Le Gem de Châtellerault débarque à Tonnay Charente

Très bon séjour à Tonnay Charente avec une belle maison agréable, avec un équipement comme défini sur l'annonce, grand jardin avec plusieurs activités (table de ping-pong, terrain de basket et boule de pétanques, barbecue etc...) Nous étions un groupe de 9 personnes de l'association du Gem de Châtellerault.

La maison d'Emmanuel et Sandra est parfaitement conforme au descriptif et aux photos. Livres, magazines, jeux sont à disposition. L'environnement est calme, et le jardin agréable. Le supermarché et la boulangerie sont à proximité. La situation permet de s'évader dans toutes les directions et nous en avons bien profité : Ile Madame, baignades à Fouras, pont transbordeur, Corderie Royale de Rochefort, il y en a pour tous les goûts. L'accueil est chaleureux et sympathique et Didier et Emmanuel sont très disponibles et soucieux du bien-être des occupants. Je recommande vivement cette location dans laquelle nous retournerons si l'occasion se présente.

Un accueil chaleureux, une maison parfaitement adaptée à nos besoins, les photos sont fidèles à la réalité, l’emplacement est idéal à 5 min de la sortie d’autoroute, 15 min de Rochefort, 25 min de Fourras. Nous avons passé un bon séjour au Colibri d'Emmanuel (propriétaire) La maison est bien équipée, il ne manque rien, ni pour la cuisine, ni pour les loisirs. Les propriétaires sont soucieux de notre bien être et nous ont appelé pour savoir si tout se passait bien. Merci également à Didier pour son accueil très sympathique lors de la remise des clés. Très jolie maison

La maison d’Emmanuel est charmante et très grande, au calme de la campagne dans un hameau avec un accès proche à des commerces à moins de 2km (centre commercial avec boulangerie, primeur, pharmacie etc). Le centre ville de Tonnay-Charente, un peu plus éloigné de l’autre côté de la route départementale, est très joli en bordure de Charente avec son petit marché très sympathique le dimanche. L’endroit nous a paru très intéressant pour rayonner dans la région (Fouras, Île d’Aix et le Fort Boyard, Rochefort et la côte sauvage). Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup d’attentions par Didier qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils et de suggestions de visite et qui est même venu nous déposer quelques articles manquants le lendemain. Merci également à Emmanuel et son fils et leur gentillesse lors de notre arrivée. Le logement avait été entièrement désinfecté à notre arrivée. La maison est très agréable avec ses grandes baies vitrées, ses pièces spacieuses et les différents jeux extérieurs ainsi que les livres que nos enfants ont bien apprécié, l’espace extérieur avec le grand salon de jardin. Peut être une ou deux chaises longues pourraient être appréciées en plus des chiliennes. Nous avons également beaucoup aimé le charme de la chambre du rez de chaussée et sa magnifique salle de bain. Les enfants ont aimé leur chambre avec une fenêtre donnant sur le salon. La maison est plutôt fonctionnelle et bien pensée. L’accès à la seconde chambre via la salle de bain de l'étage ne nous a pas posé de problème. La maison porte bien son nom puisque j’ai pu observer de jolis sphinx colibris venus butiner la sauge fleurie du jardin. Un joli moment...

Séjour agréable au calme

Séjour sympathique dans cette maison au calme, terrasse très confortable pour déjeuner ou farnienter. Merci à Didier pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. La maison était très propre à notre arrivée. Le Rdc est très spacieux et frais en période de canicule. Quelques petits bémols toutefois : à l étage la chambre double accessible uniquement par la sdb partagée avec les 2 autres chambres et au Rdc le canapé un peu fatigué et les placards de l ilot central peu accessibles. Dans l ensemble bilan positif, des prestations de qualité mais un tarif un peu élevé.

Lieu de repos idéal

Une semaine pleinement reposante passée à la maison du Colibri, véritable havre de paix au milieu des champs avec des dinners en extérieur à la lumière du soleil couchant. La maison est propre (yc les pièces d'eau) et l'équipement de la maison est à la fois très complet (barbecue et wifi inclus) et de qualité. Super accueil par Didier et formalités de départ facilitées. Super U et Circuit-court à proximité, idéal point de chute pour visiter les environs. Y aller et y retourner les yeux fermés!

Maison très agréable, tout à fait conforme à la description. Nous y avons séjourné à deux familles avec des enfants. Nous y avons particulièrement apprécié la pièce de vie spacieuse et chaleureuse et les extérieurs qui offrent de multiples possibilités. Monsieur Savatier est très prévenant et sympathique.
