Close to many dining options, shinjuku station, shinjuku gyoen. Hotel was a bit big for Japanese standard. Surprise free croissants and coffee/tea in the morning a plus bonus. Friendly staff and comfy room/bed. Will love to come back again.

Fantastic hotel in bustling section of Shinjuku. Literally everything you want is right outside. Small clean room perfect for one person. Small complimentary breakfast in the morning. comfortable lounge to take a break. I recommend Hashino coffee right across the street for soufflé pancakes and hand dripped coffee. You’ll be happy you stayed here.

I really enjoyed my stay at WPU. The room was clean and got everything I needed. The location was very convenient and walking distance to Shinjuku station. There are so many restaurants and shops nearby and open 24 hours. The staffs are very nice and friendly too.

The hotel have a one-way escalator which goes up during late afternoon and night and goes down in the morning. Sometimes you'll need to use the stairs depending on when you plan to be at the hotel. They have umbrellas free of use. Check-in was swift and straightforward. All their staff spoke English fluently and Japanese as well, most are multilingual. Walking into the room, there was a stench of sweaty armpits which luckily they have a room fragrance spray by the entry door. Their bathroom has a steep step. The shower curtain does nothing from preventing water spraying everywhere as the water pressure is quite strong. It's easy to get the shower head and rain head mixed up with their style of tap. TV in the room is small and the bed is not right next to the light switches. The space between bed and table was really tight and inconvenient. There is sufficient space to organise your luggages before departing. Location itself was pretty central as its about 2 mins walk to Shinjuku station. There's an exit just opposite the hotel, which you need to cross the street. Kabukicho was about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel and Omoide Yokocho was also just a minute walk away with a lot of currency exchanges around it with competitve prices. We managed to get a cheaper price asking to extend for another night just the night before we need the extension and stayed in the same room. Heaps of laundry machines available for use!
