We had a great stay. Convenient location, with Shibuya station an easy 5 minute walk away. Staff was polite. Buffet breakfast was of good quality with a decent range of food and beverages. The onsen was excellent with all the amenities available, clean and thoughtful. Our room was clean, a decent size for Tokyo and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was compact but acceptable. Perhaps the only criticism was the somewhat tired decor but fair enough for this price point in pricey Shibuya!

Absolutely loved our stay. Good location. A bit off the beaten path on a quiet back street, which was a nice change from the busyness of Shibuya’s main streets, but still felt very safe. In hotel onsen was excellent. Clean, excellent toiletries provided and so relaxing, Free foods/drinks were a treat: coffee/tea all day, yogurt drink in am, ice cream/popsicles in afternoon/evening and ramen 9:30-11 pm; a real bonus, We loved the room setup. Yes,on the smal sidel, but had a practical, functional layout. We felt we could stay in it long-term, Staff friendly, even if many spoke minimal English, but the hotel is in Japan afterall. Room very quiet when windows closed, even though by a train track. Approx 7-10 minute walk to Shibuya and Meiji-Harajuku train stations, so is very convenient for getting around the city, I regretted not booking Dormy Inns for the rest of our trip in Japan! Will miss the Hershey ice cream bars! I can’t wait to come back to stay again!

Check-in/Check-out: Check in was on a kiosk that a front desk member helped me with and checkout was less than 2 minutes. They even called a taxi for us to go to the Tokyo train station. Room: The room was clean, new towels were given every day, and while it's small it was basically the perfect size to get ready, freshen up, or take a quick nap before going out somewhere. Staff: Excellent. No complaints. Helped us with any questions we had. Amenities: The hot spring/sauna area was very nice and relaxing and had everything you needed to chill out. The breakfast was awesome. Maybe it was because this was our first time in Japan, but I was very surprised how everything seemed slightly elevated from what I'm used to in the US. I would highly recommend paying for it. It got us up early to start our day and was always great quality. Location: This was in a great location. Right in between two train stations, and it was walking distance to so many different shops, bars, and places to eat. We got to do a lot of different things because we could easily walk or take a train. Overall/Value for money: If you are like us and this is your first time I would definitely recommend the Dormy. It was a reasonable price when we stayed (early to mid November) and was the perfect place to get ready or nap then walk to our next new thing. If you want a place where exploring is easy and the price won't break the bank I would recommend staying here a while.

Rooms were small, as expected, but the public bath made up for that! Really nice to have the option to shower and get ready there instead. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and they have a variety of pillows to borrow at the front desk if you don’t like the ones in your room when you get there. Extra perks were great - late night ramen, free coffee, free yakult in the morning and free popsicles in the evening. Location is great! It’s about halfway between 2 metro stations, which added flexibility. Great shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Tokyo!

Staff were great, room was clean. The bed and pillows are atrociously uncomfortable. I'm not sure you can classify their pillows as pillows. Paid for location, amenities were okay. Probably won't stay here again or recommend.

My son loves the location. The night soup provided by the hotel for free was great and needed when we were tired and hungry and didn’t want to go out and look for a place to eat.

Shower had good water pressure and temperature and the breakfast was fantastic with a good variety and high quality food. The staff was also very nice and I appreciated the close location to the metro.

The location is perfectly between harajuku and shibuya stations and within less than 15min walk. Love the hot spring. Room size is reasonable and very clean.

The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. The staff were great. Good amenities in the room. Staff took their time to find a sumo experience for us to go to.

Amazing, I was so happy with the staff and amenities. The public bath was wonderful and had a sauna and cold bath as well as plentiful shower facilities and the hot bath. Very happy with the snacks as well provided outside the bath.

Was a good affordable option for staying in Shibuya and was a stones throw from Harajuku too.. Slightly. Back off the main road, which didn't seem too safe to start with but actually it was fine. You can hear the trains but not loud enough to bother you. Just like a small gentle quiet drum. In the background every once in a while. Was no issue. Facilities are good and the washing machine and dryers easily accessable. Would stay again.

Clean rooms and great staff. Only downside is if you're sleeping on the side of the building where the subway lines travel. Then you have to deal with that noise.
