Fabulous pool. Lovely shaded area on the beach with chairs to lie on. As a vegetarian found it hard to get my protein some meals-but generally a good range of vegetables.

Run down. Had a 2 night reservation and moved to 3 different rooms. Broken AC, Bath showers terrible. Cant control hot cold water, finally upgraded to one of the best rooms,. If youre lucky to get booked in the best rooms. Maybe you will enjoy

Slow check in, long wait for everything. Asked for room service menu, chap came to take order, no menu. Went away to get 5 x menus, came back with one. Check out, go to reception, sent to cashier, got a piece of paper, queued st reception again to hand over piece of paper, why? Will not stay again and will actively discourage other people from staying. 1 star if that

This resort has a lot of potential and unfortunately its a lack of ongoing maintenance that is leaving its facilties, rooms and dining area aged looking. they also need a better tidy up process at the buffet and tables - the fact that a server just gave me cutlery from another table didnt look great. Bits of rust and mould in the rooms and bathrooms. Towels and deck chairs very old looking. Staff were amazing - but management needs to invest in constant upkeep otherwise it will suffer further.

Comfortable and very clean

A very warm and welcoming staff who would go the extra miles to make sure you are comfortable. The food was excellent and the rooms very clean. Plenty of activities available within the hotel premises. Highly recommendable

Great place for holiday

The resort is beautiful,on the amazing beach,the food was great and the staff very polite and helpful. You can be bored here ,there is entertainment literally every part of the day.Will definitely come back!!!

Very nice staff and a great stay!

Amani Tiwi provided a great stay! The staff was very helpful and courteous. Even though the initial check in wasn't timely they made up for it by allowing me to stay a couple extra hours before I was required to check out. The grounds and pool were beautiful and the food was great! Overall, a very nice experience!

Pretty area. Decent price

It's a beautiful hotel. Service was at times bad in the restaurant. The food was ok but quite repetitive. It's very family oriented so be prepared for lots of kids running around. The dive shop was great. Entertainment staff fun.

Hidden Gem

Beautiful facility in slightly remote area of Ukunda. We had a late check in after evening flight to Mombasa airport, and an hour long taxi ride to hotel in Tiwi. Dinner closed about an hour before we got there. The wait staff offered to get an F&B supervisor, who arranged for us to get drinks, a delicious, freshly prepared meal and coffee! It was a lovely gesture. Perfectly relaxing- Hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of quiet, relatively private beach and has several swimming pools for lounging. Lots to do- All day beach activities, sports and evening entertainment facilitated by hotel staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Downside was TV had few channels-less than 5 and poor clarity. WiFi access was limited/unavailable especially in the rooms. Meals were top notch! We booked all inclusive rate and were impressed with quality, and variety of food and beverages. Travel Tip: fly directly into Ukunda airport where available unless interested in crossing likoni ferry linking north n south coast.

Amani Tiwi relaxation

We had an excellent 4 nights stay at the hotel, where we felt instantly welcome and at ease. The staff were incredibly attentive and every need/want was tailored for. The food was healthy and to a good standard, whilst the drinks on the all inclusive were always readily available. Clean pool, gym and beautiful beach allowed for a fantastic break. The bass on the speakers could be turned down slightly at night, aside from that an excellent holiday.

Best place to stay in Mombasa

Perfect place all round. Nice and spacious rooms, comfortable large beds, big outdoor pool, decent food and fruits, nice and helpful staff, best for activities and night entertainment all days, perfect for honeymoon and romantic getaways etc. If you don't want disappointments this is your place. Loved it and would go again. Had to extend my stay.

Nice, but underpaid.

Amani Tiwi is a beautiful place with lovely staff. Unfortunately it seems as though the staff is overworked and underpaid. For the amount of money visitors pay to stay at this place, the staff should be well compensated.

4-star joke

I've been to 4-Star hotels before and this is not one of them! Management - everything starts with the managers, whether positive or negative. Most negatives here are because of poor management. Staff - the staff has little training. Many are apprentices and act like they never had 1 day of training. They don't know what they have on their menus. They can't even open a bottle of wine. I had to teach one of the waiters how to do that. Many are also very unprofessional. They wish to be "friends" and not do their job. Eg. when my wife was by herself and not with me, was approached by 5 different male staff members. Safety - I was recommended by the security staff not to walk on the beach. They said there was muggings on the beach before and to walk on the beach, you needed a security staff member to escort you. Cleanness - although the room was decently clean, the rest of the resort wasn't up to a 4-star level. Always leaves in the pool! Water - the water that they use for showers is not freshwater. It's not saltwater either but something in-between. Dress code - they have a dress code for their restaurant. They don't tell you about it until you get there and then they want guys to wear what basically looks like a long skirt. Internet - It is not high speed. Frankly it doesn't work 1/2 the time. Power - of the 10 nights we were there it went off 7 of those days.

Peaceful & relaxing

Beautiful facility. Very well maintained. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Cool open air lobby with plenty of ocean breeze. Food choices were fantastic, with breakfast definitely being the highlight. Need more drink choices though. Room was spacious. Nice semi-private clean beach. Not a party hotel, relatively quiet and relaxing but still with decent entertainment choices for the whole family. Highly recommend.

værelserne trængte til renovering. Når man var på toilettet, kunne andre høre det, da badeværelser vendte ud til en lang gang. (vindue i badevær) Vejen til hotellet meget dårlig. Dårlig forbindelse til Diani Beach. Hotellet bar præg af at sæsonen ikke var startet. Fx var kaffebaren ike åben for 2 dagen inden vores afrejse. Fiskerestauranten var ikke åben (under renovation)
