Location - Difficult for access for people with limited mobility. The reception was up one flight of stairs and to access the rooms a further flight of stairs to gain access to the lift.
Reception Staff - were very helpful, but were unfortunately weren't helped by the remainder of the hotel staff who were less than efficient.
Room Cleanliness - when we entered our room we were immediately aware of a lack of attention from the housekeeping staff. Rubbish from previous occupants had been left in one of the drawers and the balcony was littered with rubbish from above.
Chairs - only one chair was present on the balcony, this and the table were left in a dirty condition.
Cups - only one cup and saucer were available in the room when we arrived.
Fridge - there was no fridge in the room, we only realised this after a few days.
Maintenance Poor - the shower was leaking at the shower head when we arrived, we had 3 different shower heads during our stay.
Toilets & Basins not cleaned daily
Cups & drinking glasses not cleaned on a daily basis. we have never experienced this in any other hotel we have stayed in.
Breakfast - The breakfast was poor, the same everyday with no choice whatsoever.
Coffee Machine - the coffee machine in the breakfast room was often out of service, no attempt was made by the staff to be proactive and offer to make coffee, we always needed to ask.
Breakfast Service - the staff in the breakfast room were disinterested, preferring to read their newspapers and chat.
