Terrible hotel, it was showing pet friendly and up on our arrival at 23;00 tiered they told us we can’t have pets ! This is unacceptable Plus they reception guys do not speak English and do not show any solutions to the issue

The premium paid for this hotel made the stay be very disappointing. The hotel staff was not very friendly, we had to book our breakfast time which was very frustrating and harmed the planning for our days. The room was full of fire ants and their restaurant food/drinks were outrageously expensive.

First I have never refused a hotel room in my life and I have had many and I have never given a bad review on a hotel stay until today.The hotel is a series of buildings with about 6 rooms in each section.The building reeked with a mold smell and we had to carry our luggage (with help) up 2 flights of stairs to get into the room. My wife and I had a long day and made the decision to tough it out at least for one night. We went to check out the pool for a while, came back to building and the dangerous mold smell was so bad my wife had a hard time breathing. We made the decision to find another hotel that night because mold can be dangerous. Sun Bay Hotel Pipa refused to give all of our money back and charged us for 1 night because they said we have been there over 5 hours which is a TOTAL LIE. I have screenshots from our phone calls showing we called Sun Bay Hotel at 5:12pm for directions because the GPS directions was taking us on on a one way street the wrong way and arrived about 6pm. I have a screenshot of the phone call we made to the Pousada Oka da Mata hotel at 8:15pm to make reservations. At 8:30pm we had the car loaded called back Oka da Mata and they were wonderful with big rooms and a great staff that offered a driver to lead us from the gates of hell to their hotel. That is the shortest 5 hours I have ever seen. The hotel staff is lying to Orbitz and I can assure anyone that reads this this fight is not over because I feel like I have been lied to and cheated. O hotel tem uma excelente estrutura e conforto. Áreas amplas, quartos também. As opções de café da manhã são bem gostosas e, grata surpresa, tinha sempre opção sem gluten. Com uns 10 minutinhos andando vc chega à praia e uns 5 para bares e restaurantes. A ausência de acesso à praia é um detalhe importante, e é preciso saber disso. Vc vê toda a Baía mas não desce. O fato de não ser super no centro deixa o ambiente bem silencioso, o que é ótimo. Enfim, excelente experiência.

It is worth going if is not raining.

Pros: Location. Beautiful landscape. Prices are OK for a hotel. Close to Madeiro Beach. Cons: No internet on the rooms. Internet at the restaurant or pool was horrible. Bed is to hard and hurt my back. There is only two channels woking on the tv (they say they have cable. If they had, wasn't working) If you don't have a night activity on the city to go and have to stay in the hotel(if is raining), you won't find anything to do. No TV and Internet working.

A pleasant place to stay.

Good welcome. Nowhere to sit in room, very little space because of an extra bed. The only rubbish bin was the one by the toilet - not nice. Excellent choice for breakfast, other food quite good.

Bom cardápio café da manhã, muita variedade, piscina dia de semana 10, no sábado muita gente tornando a piscina com cheiro ruim e desagradáveis de usar. Equipe de funcionários muito prestativos e simpáticos. O quarto era grande e limpo, acho que faltou mais lugares pra pendurar roupas molhadas, inclusive no quarto tinha um tanque e poderia ter um varal de teto em cima do mesmo. Minha sugestão é que se não pode ter um acesso para a praia, poderia ter pelo mesmo um mirante.
