I stayed two night and the third day I was told I wasn’t able to check into a room, after me calling the front desk in the morning to double check if I was able too. I then Made plans for my kids to come to the room for then night. They were exited to go for a swim. At 12:30 I received phone call asking me To check out I then went to the front desk and was told she was going to call the police. Then another worker told me I could stay until 230 to talk to a manager . I wasn’t happy neither were my children. Nor did I receive a refund They

It was good for the price we found. We asked for a room away from busy and noisy area as a request, several days prior . Hotel was not busy at all. Desk staff put us in a room across from busy parking lot intersection of the 3 hotels with headlights constantlyat our sliding door window, rear door lock and bar both broken. We asked to be moved, which they did and, were good about it. The new room location was much better! Restaurant needs to expand the menu, its disappointing when you want to stay in and support the hotel yet few choices for food. Atmosphere is nice, beautiful wood beams throughout. Pool area and sauna, tiles, etc needs a serious cleaning or upgrade. It still was nice to have a swim and sauna to escape the cold. Hotel also needs more direction signs especially near hallways. Its large with confusing room layouts. Also, it needs at least 1more ice machine. Overall, a good stay, if you find a good price ! Thunder Bay hotels are all overpriced.for some strange reason?

The room was cold, even when we put the heat on high. Went to the front desk, they gave us a heater fan that died after a few hours. They came and check the heater and at the time it was warm but went warm to cool and warm again. It was a cold night. We did complain the next day but they didn't offer anything for our crappy night. Also, the room next to us, they were banging the walls, where I even felt it on my back as I sat on the bed. I left the pool area because there were kids, where at one time I opened my eyes and the kid was above me, ready to jump in, I had to quickly move out of the way before he jumped in. The father just kept saying don't do that but the kids just kept running around and doing what they felt like. Not too happy for a higher price hotel. I would have a better time and warmth for a lower price.
