We arrived at 1am and gentleman that received us was above and beyond. Room is small and there is no real AC on it. No drinks or water to purchase after hours. Just a vending machine. Room did not have a sheet and pillows to the sofa bed. When asked at the reception we were provided one pillow for two people.

I chose this IBIS hotel based on air conditioned rooms (not easy to find in Thonon), distance from family members who live in the area and consistency with room/hotel amenities. The room was clean, minimally equipped as per expected (no tea kettle/coffee maker, fridge, etc.). The bed was reasonably comfortable (not hard as a rock) which is not always easy to find in Europe based on American standards however biased. It was nice to have a few English speaking tv channels to watch as well. The breakfast was adequate though I thought the IBIS Central location in Thonon had a better spread overall last time I stayed there. The abundant free parking outside the hotel was a major plus. I will definitely stay here again.

Good location, nice decor, most of the staffs are friendly. A few downside during our 1 night stay… the sofa bed is very uncomfortable comparing with the other hotels we stayed during the trip. The aircon isn’t working properly. The lowest temperature can be set is 18 degrees and it’s still too hot. It’s a 2 adults and 2 children family room and we only got <1 toilet roll.
