All staff were so kind and friendly. The evening meal was fabulous! Love the dining & bar area ..So cosy and love the comfort and decor. Have been here a number of times... Summer and winter .. Fabulous any time of year! Room was so good too. Highly recommenced.

More staff needed . This seems to be an ongoing issue as every time we visit we are waiting for staff to check us in or check us in to our table for food. Food was not up to standard over cooked and not hot. Bedroom was clean and functional but window frames rotting and need attention. Floors also very noisy.

Couldn’t get a table for dinner. Had to eat from a low table in reception. We could see the dining room and there were empty tables all night. Not very successful. Not what you need after a six hour journey. Think there was problems in the kitchen. We could not get an answer from reception as we couldn’t find the car park. Had to ask a local.

Nice room , well maintained. The staff were helpful. Negatives: the restaurant tables looked like they needed a good clean. The wine is overpriced. Totally out of line with what was offered.

Really friendly staff. Very dog friendly. I am originally from area and it's like coming back home from home. Reception was lovely when checking in. Staff at bar made a fuss of our dog. Lovely. We will see you all soon
