Not every hotel has a visible Byzantine road under its restaurant. The hotel is in a good state of repair, the staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was fairly quiet for its city centre location once you worked out which way to turn the door latch in the French window.

We found the breakfast spread excellent. We really enjoyed eating in the enclosed dining area over looking the ancient ruins below us. We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and we had only fabulous interactions with all of the staff, theyā€™re very friendly and helpful. They would run to open the door for you. The hotel is close to many bakeries and restaurants and is a short walk to the ocean front where a plethora of shopping can be found. Highly recommend M&C
