Schönes Wochenende im Harz mit Licht und Schatten Wir haben ein Wochenende in diesem Hotel direkt an der Bode verbracht. Das Haus überzeugt in vielen Punkten, hat aber auch Schwächen. Das Positive: Die Architektur wirkt wie ein kleines Schloss und fügt sich wunderbar in die Umgebung ein. Die Lage ist ruhig und traumhaft direkt an der Bode, die Umgebung ideal zum Wandern. Besonders die sehr gute Küche hat uns überzeugt – frisch und geschmackvoll. Das Betreiber-Ehepaar war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Kritikwürdige: Das Zimmer war sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, das Badezimmer winzig. Für den Preis hätten wir deutlich mehr Komfort erwartet. Die Medientechnik ist veraltet. Da das Paar das Haus weitgehend allein führt, entstanden Wartezeiten beim Check-in, Check-out und im Restaurant. Der öffentliche Parkplatz an der Bode bietet keine garantierten Plätze für Gäste und war bei gutem Wetter schnell von Tagestouristen belegt. Fazit: Ein charmantes Hotel mit toller Lage, guter Küche und herzlichen Gastgebern. Wer rustikalen Charme und Natur sucht und bei Ausstattung sowie Service Abstriche machen kann, wird sich wohlfühlen. Für höhere Komfortansprüche eher nicht empfehlenswert.

Wir möchten uns nochmals herzlich für den größeren Aufwand bedanken, den wir erbeten hatten (Frühstück schon zeitiger) Dass dies ermöglicht wurde ist nicht selbstverständlich. Der junge Herr, der uns dies ermöglichte, war äußerst nett und zuvorkommend. Vielen vielen Dank. Das Frühstück war lecker und es gab eine reichliche Auswahl. Das Zimmer sehr gepflegt und mit dem selbständigen einchecken hat alles gut geklappt.

Die Lage ist unfassbar schön in der Natur und das Schlösschen selbst natürlich auch. Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr bemüht. Auch das Essen ist extrem lecker. Nur die Betten sind etwas durchgelegen, aber ansonsten ist es klasse

Vi kommer gerne igen en anden gang

Vi havde et dejligt ophold - 3 overnatninger med hund - ingen roomservice men køleskab med varer man kunne købe. Morgenbuffet var udemærket - aftensmad udemærket både på eget samt et alternativt hotel i byen. Eneste minus når man som os rejser med sort hund er de meget fine lysegrønne filttæpper. Vi beklager virkelig den stand vi efterlod dem i😩 Det er et vandreområde så grus og sand kom desværre også med ind på støvlerne….til trods for at vi både vaskede os i floden og tørrede fødder😊😊😊

Einzigartig gelegen. Ruhige, sehr schöne Unterkunft. Das Hotel wird seit einem Jahr von einem jungen Paar geführt. Herzlicher und freundlicher Service. Speisekarte auch mit guter Auswahl für Vegetarier. Sehr schön zum Entspannen.
