Beautiful surroundings and food. We didn’t get the ground floor room requested but managed the stairs with a struggle. We were not told about the first floor rooms and no lift or limited car parking space until after we had booked but we managed to park both days.

Stunning building, beautifully decorated. Great location, right on the high street. Well equipped room. Firm mattress (perfect for us) but pillows were quite hard. Breakfast service was slow, full English was tasty, but could have been hotter, good continental choices, but tea was really weak (1 teabag in a full teapot!! ) All in all, a lovely stay, staff were friendly & we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful bedroom with four poster bed, that was super comfortable. The room was lovely and large. The bathroom had bath tub and shower, and was very clean with lovely toiletries. We stayed in room 101 and would definitely stay again.

Our 5th stay here. It seems to deteriorate a little each time. Cleanliness of the rooms is not perfect. No shelving in the bathroom to store anything . Staff appear disinterested in customers.
