An Absolute Lovely Countryside Retreat
My neice and I only have wonderful things to say of the house and hosts. We felt so welcome and comfortable during our stay. It was truly home away from home. Michael made us a bog fire each night in both fireplaces. We were so appreciative. He is full of knowledge about the region from sites to see, to restaurants, to pubs, etc. We highly recommend this gem of a place nestled in such beautiful and enchanting surroundings.

Perfect country home
We stayed just over a week at Michael and Bridget’s countryside cottage in Termon and it was perfect. Warm. Comfortable. Peaceful. It was wonderful for our large family and had everything we could possibly need with small kids and big kids too. It was set off the road but still close enough to get to all the beautiful beaches and towns by car in minutes. Letterkenny was a quick 15-20 mins drive depending on time of day. Affordable and lovely, the hosts made us feel super welcomed and even let my son feed a new lamb with a bottle - so sweet. Can’t recommend this spot enough and we would definitely go back!

Highlight of Ireland for us! Absolute tranquility.
Bridget and Michael were the perfect hosts telling us all about locals sights and hidden treasures to explore. Michael allowed us to bottle feed a baby lamb and told us all about the herding dogs and cattle! The farm house is so comfy cozy (fireplaces, throws, huge kitchen and living room, candles and soaps) and tastefully decorated with paintings, pottery and throws from the local area and far off places like Bulgaria and France. My sister, the chef, giggled with pleasure as she reported to me that the kitchen was very well equipped and met her high standards. This was important as we were staying for 5 days and planned to prepare our own meals since we were tired of eating out. The sound of the sheep and birds and the fragrant air lulled us to sleep every night. So peaceful. The house is very roomy and can easily accommodate a group of 6. Loads of storage too! The house is centrally located to several points of interest and is a quick 10 minute drive to wonderful unspoiled coves and beaches. I highly recommend this property. Absolute gem. A 10/10.

Fantastic stay at Bridget’s lovely cottage.
5/5! Such a wonderful stay. Bridget was super flexible with check in and check out which is a breath of fresh air and was so helpful it fitting around our plans. The check in process was a dream. We arrived at the property with the door unlocked (Bridget and Michael live close by but the cottage is super private, you wouldn’t know) and the already stove already lit! The views from the front of the house was stunning, and lovely to sit out if you get the weather for it. The cottage had everything we needed - plenty of wood and turf for the two fires (one log burner, and one open fire) Michael popped round shortly after check in and shared lots of useful info on local amenities, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, aswell as letting us know where to find more wood/turf and how to use the heating. The bread, milk and snacks were a lovely touch. Location was fantastic - a short drive to Ards Forest and also to Mulroy Bay where we kayaked with Awaken Adventures. There’s a pub walking distance from the cottage but we made the short trip into Kilmacrennan to Nora’s bar which was brilliant - they also do free drop offs home at the end of the night. Thank you Bridget and Michael for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back!

Beautiful farmhouse
Stayed 3 nights. Bridget and husband were extremely friendly and helpful. Communication was excellent and immediate replies. House is beautifully decorated and cosy with everything you need. You can relax next to the wood burner in the kitchen or next to open fire in living room. All beds are comfortable we all had great nights sleep. Location is excellent, beautiful area to explore and easy reach. We are definitely returning, highly recommend.

Situated in a quiet country lane, this 100 year farmhouse is perfectly situated to enjoy a peaceful and idyllic stay. It’s surrounded by working farms for sheep. The owner very kindly let me hold a lamb for a photo. We found the farmhouse to be very comfortable, turf provided for the fire! Bread, milk, butter and biscuits available on arrival. We chose it as it’s location is superb for exploring the wealth of stunning beaches, historic sites, forest walks and scenery Donegal has to offer. It was lovely to be able to share this with our dog. Would love to return

Lovely Hosts and House
Myself, husband, 3 kids and our Jack Russell, really enjoyed our stay here. The provision of bread, butter, milk, etc was a lovely touch. We loved the turf fires and sitting in chilling out in the evenings. Great base for exploring Donegal.
