Photographs do not reveal the beauty of the incredibly beautiful grounds at this peaceful retreat. Once you navigate out of Mexico City (which is a challenge better met with a hired driver) it is less than an hour ride and you will be greeted by a warm, attentive staff that is eager to please. Brush up on your Spanish...not much English spoken here, but that authenticity is part of experience. My wife and I took advantage of the outdoor yoga class, horse back riding tour and massages that all exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, especially the weekend bruch. In short, if you are looking to escape the city madness and find tranquility then La Buena Viera Wellness Resort & Spa is the place to stay.
