We had a fantastic holiday. It was a nice (slightly dated) house with a phenomenal view in beautiful surroundings. The cleaning left a lot to be desired, but that did not spoil the fun. WiFi was also great! Very friendly owner who came for a chat on the day of departure. All in all we had a great holiday. Returning home with great reluctance.

Das Haus ist wirklich wunderschön gelegen. Herrlich ruhig und eine grandiose Aussicht, wenn man vor dem Haus sitzt. Wunderschöne Umgebung, schöne Spaziergänge. Leider ist die Inneneinrichtung recht veraltet und teilweise regelrecht dreckig. Dies betraf nur das Erdgeschoss. Alles „oben“ war ordentlich und sauber. Auch veraltete Sanitäranlagen. Schlafzimmer sauber. Bettwäsche auch sauber.

Wir hofften, dass die Bewertungen dem Manager Anlass für Verbesserungen gaben. Leider... Das Haus ist schmutzig und veraltet. Im Küchenschrank befand sich blaues, schimmeliges Brot, und der Ofenrost war zu fettig, um damit umzugehen. Auch die Regale im Kleiderschrank waren schmutzig. Wir mussten um einen Korkenzieher bitten und der wurde abends vom Nachbarn gebracht.... Standardmäßig gibt es 1 Handtuch pro Person und Woche. Weil der Manager nur 1 pro Woche verwendet. Wir hatten fast ein schlechtes Gewissen, wenn wir nach mehr verlangten... Das Haus selbst hat eine erstklassige Lage, schöne Aussicht, Spaziergänge in der Umgebung und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten. Aber das nächste Mal werden wir uns ein anderes Haus suchen.

Bisher ist es ehrlich gesagt ziemlich schlimm. Gelbe Flecken auf den Schlafkissen und Decken, Couch und Sitze mit braunen, klebrigen Armlehnen und nur Schmutz, Staub und Spinnweben, die darauf hinweisen, dass die Stellen seit Jahren nicht gereinigt wurden. Schwarzer Schimmel im Badezimmer, gelbe Flecken Wanne (wir haben sie mit Chlor gereinigt und sie wurde wieder weiß). Dort sind wir auch saubere Orte. Es sieht so aus, als hätte ein Reinigungsdienst eine sehr strenge Checkliste und es ist verboten, etwas zu tun, was nicht darauf steht. Die meisten Einrichtungen funktionieren. Das Haus hat Potenzial, muss aber bearbeitet werden. Dinge wie das Fehlen von Ofenhandschuhen, obwohl es einen schönen Ofen gibt. Könnte innerhalb eines Tages umgestellt werden, ist aber offenbar seit geraumer Zeit nicht mehr geschehen. Ich habe den Besitzer am Freitag angerufen und auf dem Anrufbeantworter hinterlassen, am Samstag eine E-Mail geschickt, am Montag erneut angerufen und auf dem Anrufbeantworter hinterlassen, aber keine Antwort erhalten.

De locatie is simpelweg perfect voor natuurliefhebbers—slechts een korte wandeling naar het bos en de Ourthe rivier, We genoten van lange avonden in de gezellige tuin, grillend en genietend van de rust, De open haard binnen was een leuke toevoeging voor de koude nachten, Het huis zelf was schoon en goed ingericht, met voldoende ruimte voor ons gezin van vier, Zeker een geweldige plek voor iedereen die wil ontspannen en opnieuw verbinding maken met de natuur!
