Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
It could be perfect but it was simply dirty
I would love to give this a 5 star review but and I am very sorry that I can't, because for us the stay did not turn out to be what we had hoped.
The flat is in a perfect location in the middle of Tenby - bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants all at your doorstep. The beach only a short walk away so it could not be in a better position. The views from the apartment are breathtaking and the apartment itself is beautifully furnished. So why only give it 2 stars? For us, our long weekend was totally ruined because of the state of the apartment. It was dirty everywhere. At most, the cleaner might have tidied up the place (see photos of attached of some cleaning I did with some anti-bacterial wipes I had brought). The floors must have not been cleaned properly for months, there were bread crumbs on the table as well as all across the chairs, chocolate stains on the sofa, blood and snot stains on the bedding, blood stains on the bath mat - it was literally outrageous. I also doubt that the carpet has been hoovered properly.
I still cannot believe that a flat with that price would be left so incredibly dirty and it totally ruined the experience for me, which is a real shame.
What was done? I phoned the company, who manages it but they did not come up with a great solution. They told me that management would call me to see what can be done but I am yet to receive that call (it's been a week now).
