Great Family Weekend

Both our girls attend UMHB and this location was very close to campus. The place was great for us to have family meals and a comfortable place for grandma to stay while went to the football game. Great place! We will be back.

Nice home but poor communication with manager

This is a nice, clean home in a nice residential Temple neighborhood. Three bedrooms and two baths with decent sized living room and kitchen. Looks like a recently redone flip job. Our problem came with the property manager who was very slow to return messages. I asked about the check in process and a few other questions and it took him a couple of weeks to return my initial messages. The worst was that our stay was over the Fourth of July weekend when the temperature outside was 95°. The property manager controls the Nest thermostat through an app and we couldn’t get it to hold and maintain a comfortable temperature in the house. Every time we returned to the house after being out for the day, the inside temperature was 86°. This would make it very uncomfortable for at least a couple of hours until the A/C would finally cool the house down to the 72° range. It was really almost unbearable. Text messages and in app messages sent to the property manager were never returned at this point. Sad that a nice house was ruined by this poor communication and disregard for our comfort with the thermostat. I have rented dozens of times and really have never had this communication problem before. I hope that it can be corrected for the sake of this property.
